After showing a magical Spring '10 collection at Paris Fashion Week, it's shocking to hear that Luella has ceased all operations. The brand's licensee, Club 21, just announced it has "taken the decision not to invest further in its relationship with Luella Bartley Limited."
Furthermore, the production of Luella's Spring '10 collection has been put to a stop since its ready-to-wear producer, Carla Carini, had to shutter its doors unexpectedly.

Luella's fun, floral frocks have been making their rounds but I'm most smitten with the tiered floral mini skirt that bug-eyed model Masha Tylena wore at the Spring '08 show. The designer has proven that little girls aren't the only ones who can pull off this style. Now if only she could have made it more affordable .

The gang of London fashion burglars who have been on the lam since September have finally been apprehended!
The seven men aged between 19 and 43 raided everyone from Christopher Kane to Luella Bartley to Roger Vivier, swiping thousands worth of bags and jewellery. I wonder if they were out for a buck, or just had some very lavishly spoiled girlfriends, sisters, and mothers?

You undoubtedly remember the black polka dot Luella dress Cameron Diaz wore at the MTV Movie Awards. You did love it after all! Five months later, a skirt version has surfaced and is bound to make you giddy like it did to me.

In recent seasons, headlining British designers like Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney, and Luella Bartley have returned to show on their home turf during London Fashion Week. Even Marc Jacobs chose to present his Marc by Marc Jacobs show in London a couple seasons ago.
Today, more proof that London is experiencing a fashion capital renaissance comes with a new coup d'etat: Vivienne Westwood, who has shown in Paris since the early '80s, is reportedly planning to unveil one or more of her Fall 2008 collections at London Fashion Week in February.

It's literally surf's up for designer Luella Bartley. Her passion for the water sport has prompted her to design a 30-piece collection for surfwear brand, O'Neill.
This is exciting news for both the surfing and non-surfing world.

At first it was just a weird coincidence that days before his Spring 2008 London Fashion Week show, Christopher Kane had 24 leather dresses stolen from his East London Studio. But then, after a little more thought, the attack on the Roger Vivier store on London's Sloane Street came to mind - hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of accessories were taken in a June smash-and-grab raid there.
The fashion burglaries continue: early yesterday morning, a gang on mopeds took sledgehammers to the windows of Luella Bartley's new London store and sped off with more than $20,000 worth of handbags.

When Luella Bartley came back to London earlier this week after showing the past few seasons in New York, she wasn't the only one to make a return. Batman also made an appearance. Trousers with Batman motifs, old school Batman and Robin masks, and mini capes all adorned models on the Luella runway.
