The three team up in the upcoming issue of V Magazine in a spread inspired by Mexican actress Maria Felix - also known as La Doña, a woman who was a fixture in the fashion world as well as in Mexican cinema. Designers like Christian Dior, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel dressed Felix once upon a time, and the actress also commissioned serpent and crocodile diamond necklaces from Cartier Paris. See Daria wrapped in slithery stunners, exotic black, smoking various cigars, every bit the ravenous screen siren.

Carmen and Noah are once again muse for Michael Kors, but for Fall, the designer took the hotties off the yacht and into the city. Shot by Mario Testino, the plan was "to reflect the urban nature of the season." The couple is attending a Broadway show. “Michael is an avid fan of the theater and has been attending Broadway shows since the tender age of five,” said a spokesman. I don't know, been there done that for the NYC mayhem that is Times Square; I would rather be whisked away to a fantasy land. And you?

I don't think Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have the word "simple" in their vocabulary. Their Dolce & Gabbana Fall '09 ads are Vegas-style over-the-top, while their latest D&G Fall '09 ad, shot by Mario Testino, is regally grand. Everything is opulent - the luxurious carpet, the decadent bookshelves, the plush sofa. And check out the details on those clothes - stunning. But it's not a shocker, that's how D&G does it. What's your verdict? Are you impressed?

Emma Watson = Burberry Hottie

We couldn't be more amazed with Emma Watson's highly anticipated ads for Burberry. Shot at its new headquarters in London, photographer Mario Testino captured the budding stylista looking calm and cool all while wearing Burberry's iconic trench coats and leather handbags. “I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand, while at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today,” said Christopher Bailey, creative director of Burberry. It's hard to believe Emma's only 19; these ads show a different, more mature side of the actress and I love it. What about you?

V Magazine's Glowing Spring Affair

Always innovative and apparently optimistic, V Magazine’s Spring '09 issue hits NYC newsstands today. You can't miss the cover - even you vampires out there - because it glows in the dark! A special UV gloss causes the V and the words “V GLOW IN THE DARK” to actually glow. Woah. The issue has an electric/neon theme, thus Natalia Vodianova and up-and-comer hottie Luke Grimes also glow on the cover. Mario Testino shot the cover and Natalia's inside spread "Lights of Spring." Cofounder and editor-in-chief Stephen Gan explains the idea, "Because V needed to lighten up and brighten this Spring, we're in dark times!" Source

Fab Ad: Burberry Spring '09

I'm smitten by Burberry's Spring '09 campaign. Staying true to the label's roots, Creative Director Christopher Bailey enlisted Mario Testino to shoot an all-Brit clan looking stylishly rumpled in Burberry's garden delight offerings. The cast spotlights Lily Donaldson with fellow models Eden Clarke, Alexina Graham, and Richard Wyndham. If that weren't enough, Bailey invited Brit actor Alex Pettyfer; musicians George Craig and Sam Beeton; and photographer Emily Hope to pose with the models against the lush green backdrop. "I wanted the mood to be gentle, relaxed, romantic, and about a quiet, beautiful sense of luxury,” said Bailey.

The models natural makeup complements Bailey's disheveled collection of statement jewelry, printed dresses, and trenches. And, I spy Burberry's debut of The Gardener Bag. I'm loving these, are you?

Freaky or Fabulous? Paris Vogue Gives Anti-Fur the Finger

European Vogue magazines are pushing some fashion buttons. Alas, fashion must always be exciting, daring, and innovative. Can I get an amen?

First, Vogue Italia's all-black July issue and now editor Carine Roitfeld, with photog Mario Testino and muse Raquel Zimmermann, take a stand for fur. One of the longest standing debates in fashion - and here on Fab - Vogue is clearly saying "in your face antifur advocates." This spread is provocative and aggressive; from the high-octane furs to the black leather to the raccoon-eyed model. It's powerful.

Powerful, but is it freaky or fabulous?

Fab Flash: Natalia and Isabeli Snag Versace Campaign

Donatella Versace may be all about celebrities to front her mens line (cough) Patrick Dempsey, but over at Versace womens, it's all about the models. Fab favorites Isabeli Fontana and Natalia Vodianova have been tapped to replace Gisele Bundchen for the Versace Fall ads.

The new duo is shooting with photographer Mario Testino today in Manhattan - perfect, since Donatella's in town for the launch of Versace's menswear. I can't say how glad I am to see models in campaigns again!

Gisele lends her star power to Versace for Spring, appearing in a rainbow of colors and various states of dishabille. After leaving her job as a fashion buyer at UK fashion chain Jigsaw in October, Kate Middleton has finally found a new appointment.

Prince William's girlfriend is set to hone her photography skills working for famed fashion photographer Mario Testino in his Manhattan studios starting in March. Lucky for Kate, Testino has a close connection with the royal family, and shot Princess Diana numerous times, most notably just before her tragic death.
