We'd like to think that Chloë Moretz's signature brand of "kick-ass" acting is what steals the show - and it does - but this time around, it's her undeniably cool beige tote that's got us talking. As Max Mara's newly crowned Women in Film Face of the Future, we first spotted her with the Max Mara Hollywood bag at the Sportmax Fall 2012 runway show in Milan last week, and then again as she deplaned at LAX. It's the perfect combination of sophisticated arm candy and youthful quirk; just look to the sleek boxy shape and luxe calf-hair detail for proof. Although the hot It bag isn't on the market yet, you can shop similar styles to mimic its cool factor now. And while we wait patiently for the Hollywood to debut officially, we have to wonder - will we be seeing Chloë's face on a Max Mara campaign in the near future?

For Max Mara's Fall 2012 collection, it was all about "twenties and Bauhaus rationalism" made for "the strong, determined woman, like Emmeline Pankhurst and the suffragettes." The results? A robust artillery of militant-inspired cashmere coats, cropped trousers, and leather-embossed separates. A luxurious touch was injected into every look; cashmere jumpsuits were embellished with leather tabs and pea coats were styled with fluid silk trousers, most of which were paired with an array of leather and knit legwarmers. Standouts included an oyster-hued silk wrap dress paired with a double-faced leather and shearling oversized coat. More highlights from the collection below.

Trends: Military, duster coats, oversized cropped pants.
Colors: Army green, camel, oyster, black.
Key Piece: The tailored oversized coat and languid silk gown combo was the perfect mix of rugged elegance.
Accessories: Leather and knit leggings, militant caps, metallic silver pumps, houndstooth and leather satchels.
Who Would Wear It: Celebs like Jessica Alba and Emma Stone have been spotted wearing past collections, and we can see them picking up a few of these pieces as well, especially the outerwear.

Max Mara delivered an expectedly minimalist Spring 2012 collection, but this season there was an extra lean, sporty element. Think racerback tanks and capri leggings, delivered in colorblocked palettes of aqua, tan, and cream, which might be unwearable for most of us, but thankfully there were loosely structured anoraks, sporty gold lurex jackets, and balloon tunics with which to layer. It was a stripped-down collection that seemed focused on silhouettes, specifically a trim silhouette, and the only fashion fat came from the use of gold lurex and leather to add depth.

Trends: Sporty, minimalism, racerbacks, anoraks, jumpsuits.
Colors: Tan, aqua, cream, gold.
Key Piece: The flowy anoraks and short gold lurex jacket; the strapless jumpsuit.
Accessories: Espadrilles.
Who Would Wear It: Girls with super toned arms - we could see Katie Holmes in the jumpsuit.

Even under a scrunched time line, Milan Fashion Week stunned with numerous beautiful collections. In this roundup, I highlight some of my favorite designers, including Versace, Ferragamo, Fendi, and Armani, to name a few. I admit, Dolce & Gabbana's collection was my favorite, but that's not stopping me from showing you Bottega's soft and swirly frock, Gucci's cut-out wonder, and Emilio Pucci's magical prints. I can't seem to resist this tropical bohemian masterpiece from Etro. Simply a-mazing.

Style For Style: A Gummy Fashion Situation

I let a friend borrow a lovely ruffled jacket I have, much like this Max Mara Ruffle Front Jacket, $890. Big mistake! Somehow she got gum on the sleeve, which is a mystery because she wasn't chewing gum the entire night (yeah right!). Naturally, I freaked out, but she remained calm. Little did I know that she had a trick up her sleeve.

To see how my friend removed the gum from my jacket,

Yes, you are staring at a piece of ice. My smarty pants friend took one cube and rubbed it on the gum-infested area until the ice had practically melted and the gum had come off. It's hard to tell how long the process takes but if this happens to you, rub the ice on the gum and scratch it off until it disappears. It's labor intensive but worth it if you want to salvage your clothing! Please be mindful of sensitive fabrics like suede and silk.
