Summer is almost over but I'm going to turn my frown upside down. I've decided to welcome the new season with open arms. How, you ask? By shopping, of course. Time to pack away that linen skirt and make room for this Vintage Ethnic Print Mini Skirt, size extra small to small. The colors are rich and I love the medallion print. Bare-legged for now and black tights for later. Don't forget to accessorize with boots.

Christina Ricci gives us a lesson on how to be subtly sexy at the the opening of Barneys at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino. Her navy silk dress would be conservative if it weren't for that plunging keyhole neck and gold medallion necklace. The rest is simple and sleek, so I threw in a couple items to help complete the look. Does anyone else wish we saw more of Ms. Ricci?! Especially if she's looking this good?

I live in my tunics during Summer. They're perfect for throwing on over a bikini and look even better when they're wrinkled from the sun and surf. I wasn't messing around when I said Rebecca Bloomwood loves color. But besides color, she also has a thing for layering. Just look - this outfit starts off with a black and white Vicki Tiel dress, followed by a black Givenchy eyelet jacket, cinched with a yellow belt. Yellow Christian Louboutin pumps, yellow leather gloves, red sunnies, and a kelly green metallic Nila Anthony bag make up her accessories. Let's not forget her Roberto Cavalli horn earrings and Versace gold medallion necklace. And finally, a vintage yellow coat pulls it all together. Phew! Can you tell Rebecca hearts yellow?!

Paris Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Chanel

What's black, white and fabulous all over? You know it. OK, throw in some pink, purple and gray and done. With an inspired Chanel building serving as the backdrop, Karl delivered a wonderfully diverse Spring collection - the spunky separates being my favorites. A sharp bolero jacket and a tailored bowed top and slim knit skirt are on my lust list.

With dramatic headdresses on top and feathered sandals on bottom, what was in between was modern day Chanel. Tweed suits, party frocks and knits were given fresh treatments via beading, bold cuts and a wonderful chain adornment fastened with a brooch. On the subject of all that glitters, the jewelry was maximized; flower cluster necklaces and deco medallions were stunning. Easing into evening, the silhouette is long and lean - can't argue with that. Nothing over the top here, simply laudable Lagerfeld artistry.

On Our Radar: Patrick Robinson for Target

Starting May 6 (Sunday!), budget-loving fashionistas can go sweep up Target's latest Go International collaboration with American designer, Patrick Robinson. In case you're unfamiliar with Patrick, he started out designing surfer clothes at the age of 14 for his friends in Southern California. Moving to the East Coast, he graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York and went on to work for some of the most well-known fashion houses in the business: Georgio Armani, Anne Klein, Perry Ellis and most recently, Paco Rabanne.

Patrick's collection for Target is characterized as boho chic and includes warm weather pieces like loose cotton tanks, jersey dresses, tunics, shorts, cropped canvas vests and swimwear, all ranging from $13 to $45. What I am psyched about is the Mediterranean-inspired patterns in Patrick's collection, especially the Pleated Dress in Brown Medallion Print, $35. This would be Fab for my upcoming trip to Greece!
