The Look For Less: Lauren Merkin Metallic Clutch

Clutches were generally square and rectangular until Lauren Merkin came along. Her Metalic Clutch, $168, like so many of her other clutches, is hexagonal in shape and has lovely pleating in the front and back. I have been on the lookout for a less expensive version because I can't justify spending more than $100 on an evening bag.

My search ends here with this Steve Madden "Flora" Frame Clutch, $38. Like Lauren Merkin's version, it's metallic and has the same shape and pleating. It comes in various other colors so at that price, you can get a couple. I'd hide the chain strap, tuck the clutch under your arm and glam the night away!

The Look For Less: Jalda Metallic Python Bean Clutch

I used to think there was only so much you could do to spice up a clutch, but this Jalda
Metallic Python Bean Clutch ($495) has proved me wrong. The exotic python is chic and the bean-shape hardware is unique. Plus, it goes from clutch to tote in an instant. Still, it's a tad pricey considering I'm trying to stick to my no credit card debt Fabalution.

It's no convertible purse like the Jalda version, but this Victoria's Secret Metallic Envelope Clutch ($38) is still stylish. It has the silver hardware that makes it stand out. But please only stick to the silver style, as the flashy gold is tacky. How clutch-derful!

2009 American Music Awards: Kristen Bell

The Bag To Have: Nine West Art Deco Clutch

It's hard to find a unique clutch that doesn't resemble the usual envelope and that's why Team Fab have been admiring this Nine West Art Deco Clutch ($40, originally $60). We love the art deco-inspired shape along with the pewter finish and quilted detailing. The clutch also comes in gold and both colors just got marked down - act fast!

A couple weeks ago, PartySugar turned the big 2-8. To celebrate her big day, she hosted an outdoor dinner with a group of her closest friends.
