Mark your Blackberry calendars - Gap Design Edition, Take Two makes its much-anticipated entrance tomorrow, April 15. Cutting-edge women's white shirts and dresses, designed by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Threeasfour, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and more, will be available both online and in stores.

Last year jewelry lovers and men were neglected, this year Philip Crangi has whipped up black and white resin cuffs, and Michael Bastian has created a men's white shirt.

Sneak Peek! Gap Design Editions With Phillip Lim and More

The newest crop of Gap Design Editions are going to be in stores before we know it: April 15 is only a few weeks away! For this round, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Threeasfour all riffed on the classic white button-down ($78-$88), and Philip Crangi whipped up black and white resin cuffs ($45). I still wear the Rodarte Design Edition top I picked up last year; it's definitely not your typical white shirt. But I have to ask: Should the GAP be enlisting these designers to take on a different wardrobe staple? I would have loved to see what this group could do with a more affordable LBD. Nonetheless, for those who missed the Design Editions the first time around, get ready to pounce!

On Our Radar: Gap Design Editions With Phillip Lim and More

Last year's Gap Design Editions invited Rodarte, Doo.Ri, and Thakoon's to rework the classic white shirt, and this year we'll see what 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, Philip Crangi, and Threeasfour can do.

For the collection, which debuts in stores April 15, Phillip Lim created four pieces: a tie-neck shirt, a bell-sleeve ruched shirt, and a layered-sleeve top, all $78, Band of Outsiders concocted a patchwork tunic ($88), and Threeasfour designed a camisole ($78) and a cutaway dress ($88).

The Design Editions will also incorporate menswear and jewelry this year, which is where Michael Bastian and Philip Crangi come in. Bastian produced an epaulet and a Western shirt for men, both $78, and Crangi came up with such looks as a white or black wide resin cuff ($45). Sounds exciting - I loved the collection last year!

Last night's CFDA awards were, as expected, a gorgeous event. Like the Met Gala, this is fashion's night to really dress up, and supermodels and celebs showed up in some of our favorite outfits of the year. Anderson Cooper hosted the annual show, and the big winners this year were Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCullough of Proenza Schouler for womenswear designers of the year. Other favorite names included a win for Alexander Wang in accessories, and Lady Gaga for fashion icon of the year. Trends from the night included a sea of red gowns, thanks to Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, and Alessandra Ambrosio, suiting by Kirsten Dunst and Leelee Sobieski, and shine thanks to Naomi Watts, Karolina Kurkova, and Mary-Kate Olsen. GQ Dresses Up Vampire Diaries and Community Guys For a Silly Shoot

Some of TV's hottest young faces slipped on well tailored looks for a special GQ shoot. Vampire Diaries' Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen, and Zach Roerig got serious in looks from T by Alexander Wang while Community's Donald Glover, Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Chevy Chase, and Ken Jeong dressed up in Gant by Michael Bastian for their silly pose. Guys from Mad Men and Friday Night Lights also participated in the fun, which you can see more of on GQ's website. The magazine celebrated the best new menswear designers in America with a party during NYFW that brought out Jessica Alba, Kanye West, and another star of the small screen, Aziz Ansari, though the mag is currently featuring a sexy shirtless movie man on its March cover.

2011 CFDA Award Nominees Announced!

The CFDAs, American fashion's version of the Oscars, kicked things off last night with the announcement of its 2011 nominees. Now we have a few months to speculate on the winners before the big ceremony in June. We're psyched to see our favorite designers among the nominees, including young designers Alejandro Ingelmo and Pamela Love, who is fresh off her collab with Topshop. One of the biggest surprises is the nomination of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear, proving that celebrities can be taken seriously as designers. Here's the full list of nominees:
