Last night was a big night for the cool cast of Inglourious Basterds. At the New York premiere, co-hosted by Hugo Boss, a wild mix of Hollywood and fashion folk came out to support Quentin and Co. We already saluted Diane Kruger in her sparkling Miu Miu, but really, there was a festive mix of glam, casual, city, and street.

There's a way to liven up the red carpet, then there's a way to blow it up. Michelle Monaghan blew through the premiere of Up in LA. Her technicolor Peter Som dress and cotton candy pink Casadei heels were perfect for this lighthearted event and look especially sweet against the balloon backdrop.

Quite a few ladies are feeling blue at the Independent Spirit Awards today. Michelle Monaghan graced the also blue carpet wearing a dreamy shift dress. The contrasting silk striations add a cool texture to her look and I like how she cinched in her waistline with a matching thin belt.

Newcomer Michelle Monaghan had so many outstanding outfits this week, at first I didn't have the heart to choose one over the others. They were all Fabtastic, but ultimately it came down to this logic: This stunning satin, one-shoulder Erin Fetherston dress takes a characteristic from each of her earlier looks from the week and melds them harmoniously.
It's pitch black like the Monique Lhuillier dress she donned at the Made of Honor NYC premiere and adorned like the grey Lanvin frock she wore on TRL.
