Michelle Monaghan is a pro at creating simple, yet stunning, outfits. The actress attended the premiere of The Trucker in NYC over the weekend looking subtly shimmery in a monochromatic ensemble. Her sleek, ivory Calvin Klein silk blazer tempers her metallic crinkled dress, and I love how her gray cutout pumps inject an architectural appeal.

I hope you're not getting bored of my continuous fawning over Sienna's wicked style. What can I say? She's an official Fab favorite. This was another big week for her with The September Issue's NYC premiere - she is the celeb cover girl in the film, after all. She and Anna were colorfully fabulous at the premiere in Thakoon and Prada. There was more vivid eye candy where that came from, thanks to Renee Zellweger and Michelle Monaghan, while a certain Brazilian model and British babe prove neutrals are ultra modern.

Inglourious Style Brigade

Last night was a big night for the cool cast of Inglourious Basterds. At the New York premiere, co-hosted by Hugo Boss, a wild mix of Hollywood and fashion folk came out to support Quentin and Co. We already saluted Diane Kruger in her sparkling Miu Miu, but really, there was a festive mix of glam, casual, city, and street. Cinema-loving designers included Marc Jacobs and beau, Zac Posen, Rachel Roy, and Nicole Miller. And it's always lovely to see style mavens Michelle Monaghan and Eva Amurri. Cheap & Chic: Technicolor

There's a way to liven up the red carpet, then there's a way to blow it up. Michelle Monaghan blew through the premiere of Up in LA. Her technicolor Peter Som dress and cotton candy pink Casadei heels were perfect for this lighthearted event and look especially sweet against the balloon backdrop. But no need to walk a red carpet to get Michelle's sassy look. Just remember to limit your technicolor to one item - otherwise you'll end up looking more raver, less glamour girl.

Topshop US officially opens tomorrow but Sir Philip Green threw a preopening shindig and invited a gaggle of stars. The always-polished Michelle Monaghan showed up in an understated ensemble that's far from tame. On top, she chose a casual ivory tee, topped with a gray suede jacket. Black skinny jeans and fierce black platform sandals made up her bottom half. Her chunky statement necklace rounds out the look with a bang.

Independent Spirit Awards: Michelle Monaghan

Quite a few ladies are feeling blue at the Independent Spirit Awards today. Michelle Monaghan graced the also blue carpet wearing a dreamy shift dress. The contrasting silk striations add a cool texture to her look and I like how she cinched in her waistline with a matching thin belt. Gold and silver metallic sandals, stacked bangles, and a matching clutch complete her. Simple, yet fun; do you like it?

This Week's Fab Favorite: Michelle Monaghan

Newcomer Michelle Monaghan had so many outstanding outfits this week, at first I didn't have the heart to choose one over the others. They were all Fabtastic, but ultimately it came down to this logic: This stunning satin, one-shoulder Erin Fetherston dress takes a characteristic from each of her earlier looks from the week and melds them harmoniously.
It's pitch black like the Monique Lhuillier dress she donned at the Made of Honor NYC premiere and adorned like the grey Lanvin frock she wore on TRL. So far, this girl has done no wrong. In fact, she's done more than just right with her choice of chunky necklace and caged sandals. I'll let Buzz assess her acting skills, but other actresses should fear her fashion sense because it's a force to be reckoned with.
