Zara's look books are always dangerous territory — they tempt us with runway-inspired looks for way less. For Fall '09, Toni Garrn models LBDs with prominent shoulders a la Balmain, faux fur vests, tweed coats, military-inspired details, and lots of crisp white shirts. This one puffed-shoulder dress is clearly inspired by Dolce and Gabbana's Fall line.

What began as a military-inspired functional decoration has been largely popularized by brands like Juicy Couture and Tory Burch. You have to admit: A shiny gold button adds just a touch of bling to a classic trench.

Leave it to Diane von Furstenberg to create a foreign affair, where the muse is a sophisticate who wanders Berlin's dark streets, meets a handsome stranger, and then flees to Shanghai the next morning. Her wardrobe is what she picks up along the way; a collection of beaded dresses, ruffly blouses, wide legged pants, tailored jackets and military-inspired outerwear. Don't forget her little Bugle Boy hat.

Good news for all of you Mary-Kate and Ashley fashion fans! Now that they have the luxury market covered with The Row, Mary-Kate and Ashley have announced the launch of a new contemporary sportswear line, Elizabeth and James, coming out this Fall.
The line is named after their siblings and will include blazers, washed leather jackets, military-inspired tops, shrunken tees, oversize tees, pencil skirts, cashmere sweaters, fur jackets, and cashmere coats, all playing with a masculine/feminine theme.
