Last night, while I was busy watching Project Runway, celebs like Mischa Barton, Zoe Kravitz, and Sophia Bush were partying at the Chelsea Piers in NYC. The occasion? Celebrating Charlotte Ronson's I Heart Ronson line for JC Penney. PR was exciting, but this is one party I would have skipped watching it for. It had fun written all over it. Girly clothes were displayed, the music was blasting, and the food was aplenty.

The Beautiful Life Comes to Life

CW's The Beautiful Life - read all about the fashiony plot on Buzz - is set to drop Sept. 16, with Mischa Barton in tow. Actresses Sara Paxton and Ashley Madekwe recently got into character for WWD, and the result is as sassy as their model characters. "Each girl is at a different level in her career, so the designers she has access to tells us what her experiences are going to be in the industry," said costume designer Tom Broecker.

Barton's character, Sonja, dons the rocker-chic look via skinny jeans, leather jackets, washed t-shirts, and biker boots by designers Azzedine Alaïa, Roberto Cavalli, and Balmain. Raina, played by Paxton, is the softer, All-American girl who wears APC, Isabel Marant, and Phillip Lim. Marissa, played by Madekwe, is the avant-garde of the group who adores Alexander McQueen and Christian Louboutin. So where did Broecker draw inspiration? He perused W and British Elle and scoured the latest collections on Style.com. Look out for Givenchy couture and Rodarte in upcoming episodes - um, awesome!

Look of the Day: Mischa-Inspired

Sergeantkero is all about harboring her inner celebrity. Her Mischa-inspired ensemble is spot-on - I can totally see the former O.C. actress rocking that 'fit. I adore how she paired her sexy purple frock with ladylike heels, and the belt adds a perfect bohemian touch. Mischa would be proud.

Celebrities know to dress to the nines when attending Paris Couture shows. This week, we spotted Dita Von Teese wearing an intricately ruffled creation by Elie Saab, model Eugenia Silva in a frothy white frock by Armani Privé, Mischa Barton in a bright seashell-embellished Christian Dior dress, and both Olga Kurylenko and Daphne Guinness wearing slick Chanel. Every look has decadent drama, but which was your fave?

Paris Spring Couture's All-Star Attendees

Where there is couture, there's always going to be all-star attendees. Couture isn't up everyone's alley, but the Spring Couture collections in Paris did attract a gaggle of fashion devotees like Carine Roitfeld, Daphne Guinness, Dita Von Teese, and Olga Kurylenko (left, gorgeous). After the Chanel show, first-time fashion show attendee Keira Knightley said, “I was saying ‘I want that one and that one and that one,’ but I’ve got nothing to wear them to." Somehow I doubt that! Check out who else made a cameo at the Parisian shows.

This one's for you Mischa Barton fans. The former OC actress has unveiled her bohemian chic Mischa Barton For Stacey Lapidus headband line. "She’s definitely known for being bohemian and for her hippie look . . . I tried to put both the bohemian and the classic into the collection," said accessories designer Lapidus.

The collection, consisting of six holiday-inspired headbands, are embellished with beads, pearls, crystals, sequins, and flowers - check out Mischa modeling her headband and handbag collection seen left. Prices range from $80 to $200 and are available at StaceyLapidus.com. Excited?

Who Wore It Better? Alberta Ferretti Blue One-Shoulder Pleated Gown

Two blond beauties, two gorgeous Albert Ferretti gowns. Mischa first wore Alberta Ferretti's blue one-shoulder pleated gown from the Fall collection at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival in May. Normally she piles on jewels but she kept it clean with only a diamond necklace and a black clutch. Ivanka wore Ferretti's gown to a benefit at the New York Public Library. She left her neck bare but dressed up her earlobes with diamond earrings and her wrist with a diamond bracelet. A jeweled clutch added more dazzle. Both ladies rocked the red carpet but which look blows you away?

On Our Radar: Mischa Barton Creates Hair Accessories

Banking on her hippie aesthetic, Mischa Barton has teamed up with designer Stacey Lapidus to create a hair accessories collection.

“Accessories are fun and they’re easy to wear. I’ve always loved headbands and have worn Stacey’s headbands for a while,” said Barton, shown left wearing one of Stacey's creations.

The Mischa Barton for Stacey Lapidus line will include groovy headbands made out of feathers, silk, crystals, and pearls. The full collection was shown in NY during Fashion Week festivities. The headbands range from $40 to $200 and will be sold at boutiques and specialty stores.

Who Wore It Better? Roberto Cavalli Silk Floral Maxi

This dress was absolutely stunning on the Spring Cavalli runway so it's no surprise Hollywood's youth are all over it, or rather, all in it. Mischa wore a heavier floral version with a hippie headband at Cannes in May, Juliette Lewis standing by. And Lauren Conrad wore hers on the beach for The Hills premiere party. The big difference is the hair styles, other than that the elegant boho dress suits both laid-back attitudes. You tell me - who wore it better?
