During trying, economic times, bridal designers are forced to think creatively. On top of slashing prices, designers are cooking up new, imaginative designs to lure in the bride to be. Vera Wang, for example, reduced her price points up to 50 percent with gowns retailing at $3,600 compared to $5,500 last year.

For Spring, J.Crew's entertaining us with an art-inspired collection filled with fabulous colors and cuts. Inspired by artists such as Warhol, Monet, and Degas, the brand is offering up a nice array of sleek skirts, tops, frocks, and accessories in decadent prints and textures. The mini skirt is updated with a hexagon jacquard motif (see left); the classic button-up top is doused in a cool pastel hue; and denim is ripped to perfection.
