I was thoroughly smitten by the way Leighton Meester worked her Louis Vuitton Resort moody floral frock at Paris Fashion Week. I know you've heard about moody florals, but what about moody knits? These dark pieces are a far cry from the ones your auntie knits for you every holiday. Moody sweaters have an ominous tinge to them via slashes, open weaving, and gloomy patterns.

I own a similar version of this Free People Asymmetrical Herringbone Jacket ($50, originally $150), but it's a lot thinner and made out of silk. I wore it all Summer long, but with recent morning chills, it's not cutting it anymore. I think this thicker, herringbone version will be a good fill-in during Autumn months.
