There's been a lot of necklace talk in the fashionsphere so I say, why wait for Fall, jump on the fun trend now. I love long necklaces for a variety of reasons: they're sophisticated, fun, and can be worn multiple ways. Take this 1950s extra-long necklace ($39) with goldtone chain and white glass beads.

This Forever 21 Recycle Necklace ($9), is rather cute and Earth Day conscious. It's a perfect way to look fashionably aware and lets everyone know you're down with Mother Earth. Do you think it's cool to sport the recycling symbol or is it kinda ugly?

Ever since I lost a few costume jewelry necklaces during my move (tear), I've been itching to replace them with equally stunning finds. Lee Angel's 'Astrid' Woven Pendant Necklace ($81, originally $135) appeals to me because of its regal colors. It could dazzle any simple white tank in a nanosecond!

With all of the craziness of New York Fashion Week, it's easy to overlook all of the great things about New York City. Of course there are the landmarks, the fashion, and the food, but who can forget the top notch entertainment? As such, I'm going to carve out some time to see a Broadway show.

Funerals are never planned, but we all end up attending one sooner or later. I always find choosing the appropriate thing to wear a difficult task — you have to balance subtle with chic, and even err on the conservative side.
Last week I asked what to wear if you found yourself attending a funeral this Fall.

I see there are some animal loving fashionistas out there! At least, that's what your Fab Finds this week say to me. And snakes!

The iconic Lisa Kline logo has gone bling bling. White Trash Charms's Gold Vermeil Mudflap Mini Necklace for Lisa Kline, $88, is a tad too ghetto-fabulous for my taste. I imagine a rough and tough girl wearing it while riding shotgun in her boyfriend's 18-wheeler.

I love accentuating a simple look with an interesting necklace every now and then, but I would never consider sporting this Citrine by the Stones Willow Necklace, $205. It's just too abstract for my taste. The triple links look like an arts 'n crafts project done by grade-schoolers.

Jewelry is the perfect way to spice up a drab outfit, but sometimes, it can make things worse. I think this Dabby Reid Three Strand Necklace, $130, is one of those examples of bling gone bad. It just looks outdated - I think it's the glowing crystals that throw things off.
