I feel a smile coming on . . . this brand spanking new Phoenix video was filmed in my hometown, San Francisco, over the past couple Sundays. It's fresher than fresh. The kids are local talent, and one of my friends is even one of the danceaholics in it - hi Trish! (She's the vibrant redhead with the cool printed tee). It's so spirited. The dance moves may look familiar - an ode to one of the best scenes in The Breakfast Club. And the shots of neon garb hone in on the awesome '80s vibe. Smile on.

Cheap & Chic: Technicolor

There's a way to liven up the red carpet, then there's a way to blow it up. Michelle Monaghan blew through the premiere of Up in LA. Her technicolor Peter Som dress and cotton candy pink Casadei heels were perfect for this lighthearted event and look especially sweet against the balloon backdrop. But no need to walk a red carpet to get Michelle's sassy look. Just remember to limit your technicolor to one item - otherwise you'll end up looking more raver, less glamour girl.

I recently concluded Fergie has excellent taste in shoes. A girl after my own heart. She wore these black and neon orange Jimmy Choo "Loop" sandals while debuting her new brunette 'do in NYC. Fergs also has great legs, and so she showed them off with a white billowy sleeved John Richmond mini dress. When your shoes are this Fab, keeping the rest simple is the way to go, right Fergie?

Sneak Peek: Topshop's Stylin' Spring

British fast-fashion retailer Topshop is one of the freshest out there. When it opened a US online shop, we were ecstatic. And NYC will soon be home to an actual store. Keep on keepin' on, Topshop! If you're in a funk about your Spring wardrobe, consider funking it up with Topshop goods. Some of these may be too styled for you, but if you look closely, I'm sure you'll be inspired. Looks are broken down into four trend categories - Glory Days, Memphis, Sport Nouveau, and Witchcraft. The mixed prints in Witchcraft and the worldly allure of Glory Days are my faves. Also, if you see something you like, the outfits are shopable. So, do you see something you like?
