Roland Mouret Takes You Front Row

It's official: live streaming runway shows are the hottest thing to do this season. Hot off the heels of Burberry Prorsum, Alexander McQueen - debuting today - and Twenty8Twelve's video foray is Roland Mouret. In conjunction with Fashionair.com, the designer will be streaming his Spring '10 runway show in Paris tomorrow, Oct. 7. "This is about taking the show and using it for what it should be - an amazing and immediate way for the consumer to see the collection," said Mouret.

In addition to viewing his show from a virtual front row seat, strategically placed cameras will allow us to experience the backstage action along with intimate interviews with Roland himself. While we eagerly await the action tomorrow, check out the site now to see what Roland had to say about his past Spring collection and why he dedicated it to his late father. Aw.

2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Return of the One Piece

Perfect timing. After this Summer, I decided I need a new one piece. Though I am a skimpy bikini girl at heart, there are times when a one piece is in order. Be it a swanky pool party or chillin' poolside with the fam, the return of the one piece is upon us. Brian Reyes sent out delicate seersuckers, Derek Lam posh loungers, even sexy fashion beast Herve Leger turned down the volume with a printed baby-blue laser-cut suit. If anyone can prove one pieces can be equally as sexy as two, it's Michael Kors and his clear plastic cut-out noir creation. If only I could have that model's chiseled cheekbones, too . . .

2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Biker Shorties

We've been advocating biker shorties for a while now. What can I say - I love the '90s. When I spied lots of them at New York Fashion Week my heart palpitated with excitement. Before you start judging, let me point out the way DKNY wore them: higher, subtle, colorful styles paired unexpectantly under tailored shorts and sleek jumpers. It just so happens, these are DKNY "Smoothies" - the brand's latest form of shapewear debuting in January. The 70-plus denier yarn combinations will come in seven matte finish colors and come in three styles: a bike short, high bike short, and capri style. Start your imagination engines.

Brian Reyes's Properly Designed Rubbers

You can even have style in the bedroom. With the (overwhelming) amount of New York Fashion Week sponsors and collaborations I witnessed last week, one was truly cool: Brian Reyes designed Proper Attire condoms. In the past, Yigal Azrouel designed them, too - these are still available for purchase. And look! Alexander Wang tried his hand at rubber design. I'm still lusting after Brian's Spring collection, but his Proper Attire condoms took a print from his '10 Resort collection. Still, clearly an original Reyes musing. The condoms are $6 for a three-pack (Fab tested, Fab approved).

New York Fashion Week is always a whirlwind, and it's important to stop and smell the fashion roses. In my final roundup, soak up sleek styles from Tommy Hilfiger, edgy chic by Kimberly Ovitz, and pretty musings by Erin Fetherston. Phi (pictured) was my final show - front row Traina spotting! - and it was every bit irreverent as expected. And the shoes, lace up booties fit for Burning Man, had editors whispering in the exiting elevator. Source: Getty

Blam! Charlize Theron doesn't need much to shine, but her crisp cobalt Dior frock at the Burning Plain premiere sure turned up her ferosh factor. Fab Exclusive! Whitney and Olivia on Whitney's Fashion Week Debut

We've been longtime supporters of Whitney Port's Whitney Eve clothing line. It may have started off on an unsure note, but it's always a good sign when you are able to show at the tents at New York Fashion Week.

Whitney's collection fused girlie and romantic and, to my relief, wasn't too '80s. There were definitely a couple flirty dresses and jackets I would rock, but Whitney needs to move past the pastels. While Olivia Palermo told me she thought the collection was "youthful" after the show, last night, at Divas Live, Whitney explained: "My inspiration was Alice in Wonderland goes to a cocktail party. I wanted something really fun, wearable, but that you could easily go from day to night in. Something you wear to the office and then can dress up with heels to go out. Bright colors."Looks like it's onward and upward for Whitney Eve.

10 Reasons to Love Ralph Lauren Spring '10

If anyone can lift American spirits, it's Ralph Lauren. On the last (rainy) day of NYFW, his Depression era-inspired collection did, in fact, leave us on a positive note. Blues in all hues, denim, country florals, navy pinstripes, white cotton, and a couple drop-dead gowns were intensely pretty. And those glittering silver shoes - so fresh against tattered railroad denim. In his notes Lauren said, "I am inspired by the character of the workers, the farmer, the cowboy, the pioneer women of the prairies living authentically through challenging times." History repeats itself; fashion to the rescue.

Burberry Prorsum, Live From London Fashion Week

As New York Fashion Week draws to a close for us at FabSugar US, our friends from across the pond at FabSugar UK are gearing up for London Fashion Week, which starts today and goes until Sept. 22. Sure to be one of the highlights of LFW is the Burberry Prorsum show, which will be held in London instead of Milan, where it is typically held. The British brand is doing this to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week. Luckily, since we won't be in attendance, the show will be streamed live online for the rest of the world to see.

All you have to do is go to live.burberry.com at 6:30 p.m. BST on Sept. 22 to get front-row access. Plaid not your thing? Then make sure to check out Alexander McQueen's show as he does the same thing during Paris Fashion Week.
