Nordstrom's half-yearly sale is up and running so I suggest you jump on it - now. It's time to save mucho dinero on a copious amount of goodies marked up to 40 percent off. I'm nabbing this BCBG Max Azria Sweater Dress ($94, originally $158). I like how the sporty gray hue is offset by flirty sleeves. Layer on a turtleneck, Fab booties, and I'm set.

Unless you've been living under a rock or up on a tree, you've heard of Nordstrom's Half-Yearly Sale. It's massive, it's major and the amount of goods is mind-boggling. Apparel, shoes, and handbags and accessories are all discounted, some as much as 40 percent. The sale began yesterday and ends when the merchandise is sold out. A few fab items are already gone so don't let the rest slip away.

Maxi dresses are hot for Summer so I may snatch this Laundry by Shelli Segal Optic Print Crinkle Halter Dress, on sale for $192 (originally $320). The pattern and colors are very old-school Missoni. It would be super appropriate for a graduation party I have to attend.

One of my favorite things about the middle of July is all of the awesome sales that occur, both online and off. Summer isn't even half way over and the stores are already clearing their summer lines, just in time for my annual August vacation!

The four best sales going on right now are:

The Banana Republic Summer Sale happening now online and in-stores. BR switched to the semi-annual sale model about three years ago and it was an instant success. The deals you can find here are incredible, up to 60% off!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started last week and runs through July 30. The cool thing about this sale is it is actually brand-spanking-new Fall merchandise instead of mid-summer leftovers! I actually hold a special place in my heart for this sale because my mom and I used to get up at the crack of dawn on the first day of the sale in order to be the very first people at the store. Now, thanks to the Internet, you can shop the sale online from the comfort of your couch. Much better than that 4am wake-up call.
The Bergdorf Goodman Sale. Tons of stuff from top designers like Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Taylor and Nanette Lapore for up to 65% off!
The online sale at Shop Intuition. Again, thanks to the fabulousness of the Internet, we can take advantage of the summer sale at one of LA's hottest boutiques from anywhere in the world.
