Maybe Angelina was onto something when she whipped out her Versace black leather pants in November. Though I've always felt no one wears leather pants better than Slash from Guns n' Roses, these ladies are rockin' and rollin'. One thing is for sure: You have to be confident to pull off leathery, liquidy pants. Vanessa Paradis (left) is married to Johnny Depp so enough said, Ashley Olsen is Ashley Olsen so she's happy as a clam, and Portia de Rossi is partners with the funny and lovely Ellen DeGeneres. Breakup Notifier Helps You Pounce on Newly Single Crushes

First there was Unfriend Finder, an app that helps social masochists keep track of the people who unfriend them on Facebook. Now there's the Breakup Notifier app, which helps singles use Facebook relationship statuses to their dating advantage.

You pick the friends you want to stalk, and the app will send you an email every time they change relationship status. The idea is that you'll know when a crush becomes available so you can then make your move. If you're in a relationship when you sign up, the site will gently reprimand you, saying: "P.S. You're in a relationship! Naughty naughty . . ."

But Breakup Notifier serves purposes beyond helping you score a date. With the tool, the dedicated stalker can streamline the process for finding out when a Facebook friend goes from in a relationship to engaged, engaged to married, and, as more time goes on perhaps, from married to single. More reason to hide your status!

Lighten Your Cellphone Bill by Texting For Free

People love the word "free," and cell phone addicts especially love the word "text." However, mobile phone services love to raise data service prices, and if you aren't careful about sticking to your service plan, you can find yourself outraged by the additional charges. Luckily, several companies have created ways to bypass the whole pay-for-texting situation. Here are six messaging services you must try.

iMessage – All iOS 5 users can send unlimited text messages with Wi-Fi or 3G from the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch to anyone else that also uses those devices. The service is already built into the messages app, and like iChat, you can even see when someone else is typing you back (if you are urgently awaiting their reply).
BlackBerry Messenger – Send and receive messages using your BlackBerry; see when your messages are read; and know when your contacts are typing. Intended for BlackBerry-to-BlackBerry communication, you can still text your non-BB friends by adding the contacts to your BBM friends list.
Viber – Text or call (also works internationally) to other Viber users over 3G or WiFi. Viber automatically shows which of your friends has the service; otherwise, simply notify your friends to download it, so you can communicate via Viber.
Text Free – Download this app on the Android Market for free text and picture messaging as well as Facebook chat capability.
Google Voice – Send and receive free text messages using the app, which is available for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Nokia S60.
ChatOn - This new Samsung-powered service allows you to send free messages, group messages, photos, videos, and audio messages to other ChatOn users. Currently, ChatOn is available on Android devices (2.2 and above), but will be rolling out to iOS and BlackBerry soon.

Consumers Now Get a Full Refund on Airline Tickets If Cancellation Is Within 24 Hours

Hooray for air travel rights! Airline passengers can celebrate the new regulations by the U.S. Department of Transportation, which take effect today. Some of these include:

Getting a full refund on all airline tickets if you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation as long as the departure date is at least one week away.
Holding a reservation without payment.
Passengers have to be notified immediately of cancellations and delays longer than half an hour.
Ticket prices "generally" can't be increased after they are bought (this regulation is pretty vague, but hopefully it'll offer some protection).
Baggage fees must be disclosed when customers book a flight.
Mandatory taxes and fees have to be included in airfares displayed in advertisements.

I think the full refund of airline tickets is a huge bonus and will save lots of people money in the long run. Further, some of these new rules will definitely cut down on a lot of needless discussions with customer service reps! Which regulation are you the most excited about?

Go postal. "Ship bags and gifts ahead of time via FedEx or UPS ground, five to seven days before your trip, to make it affordable. If you do pack presents, don't wrap them, because there's a good chance the TSA will unwrap them."

5 Firms With Good Customer Policies and 5 That Need Improvement

Consumer Reports released their annual Naughty & Nice Holiday List that judges the customer service policies of several companies. The list is based upon opinions of editors and reporters of the personal finance magazine and isn't a reflection of a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" for the companies, says the magazine. Read on for a list of naughty and nice companies followed by supporting praises and complaints.

Nice:

Amazon: The company encourages customers to share feedback about and photos of the products. This information is shared with the retailers who will modify the products according to the feedback in order to receive Amazon's “Certified Frustration-Free” logo.
American Express: If you buy an item and can't return it within 90 days, Amex will refund the full price up to $300 per purchase. Each account can be reimbursed up to $1,000 every year.
Costco: Great return policy and free tech support. It also automatically extends the warranty of TVs and computers to two years after the purchase date.
Microsoft: If you don't like your new Microsoft software or piece of hardware, you can get a refund if you return it within 45 days. The firm will also reimburse the costs of shipping for up to $7.
REI: Great return policies - accepts returns at all times and for all reasons. You can return the item at any REI store or by mail.

Naughty:

AirTran: Flights don't include the price of the seat. If you want to select your seat, you'll have to pay an extra $6 to $20 each way.
American Apparel: Two different return policies for items bought in-store and online. You have 45 days to return an online purchase for a refund or credit. On the other hand, you only have 30 days to return an item bought at the store for credit.
RadioShack: The company sometimes charges different prices for the same product.
Southwest Airlines: You need to pay $10 to check in earlier than the standard 24 hours before departure. Consumer Reports says, "It’s another reminder that a basic ticket doesn’t buy much these days, and how price-conscious customers can get penalized if they don’t go for the upgrade."
Verizon Wireless: The alert system for notifying customers who are reaching their monthly allotment of minutes isn't always reliable.

Money Scare: What to Do When You've Been Robbed

Since Halloween is coming up in just a few days, it seems fitting to talk about the various scary money situations that people find themselves in. I recently addressed tips for bankruptcy and what to do when you're laid off, but today I'm going to talk about what to do when something (or things) is stolen from you. Even if this hasn't happened to you, it's a good idea to know what to do when the time comes so you don't freeze up and act out of panic.

When your home is robbed: Once you find your house has been broken into, immediately leave your home and call 911. Stay in a safe place while you're waiting for the police to come, because you don't want to run the risk of bumping into the criminal. Wait until the police come before you take further action, which means you shouldn't search your home or touch anything before the cops come or you'll be tampering with evidence. Then, walk through your house and create a list of things that you notice missing from your home. If you have not taken photos of the items before the theft, make sure you write a detailed description of them. You will need to submit this list to the police and your homeowner's insurance. When you're reporting the crime and claiming insurance, start working on ways to make your home safer. For example, you can do things like get a good alarm system, lock up your valuables, and secure your windows and sliding doors.

When your identity is stolen: If you've been monitoring your credit report and all of a sudden you see strange activity like new credit cards being opened or if you're seeing weird charges on your credit card bills, someone may have stolen your identity. First decide whether you want to place a fraud alert or a credit freeze. With a fraud alert, the creditor will be more cautious when giving credit in your name and all you need to do is place the alert with one credit bureau, which will then notify the others. A credit freeze is the more secure option - you can't be considered for new credit until you've disabled the freeze. The latter option provides more protection, but it's also more of a hassle and you have to pay a fee. You'll have to individually freeze your credit with all three agencies.

Group Therapy: I Have a Crush on My Co-Worker, but I'm Married and He's Taken

I've been married for several years and have been asking myself if I did the right thing for most of that time. But that's not what I want help from Group Therapy on right now - I've got other therapy for that. Basically, I'm not attracted to my husband, and lately I've found myself attracted to other men - nothing too serious, until now. I've got a crush on my coworker, who I started working with a few months ago.

We work together once or twice a week and ever since we first met, he's always been so sweet and caring and helpful and generous and everything my husband is not. A few weeks into working with him I found out that he has a girlfriend, which is how I found out that he is straight. In my profession, we tend to assume our male coworkers are gay unless otherwise notified.

Once he told me about his GF the first time, I immediately started crushing on him, just because he's so amazing. But he doesn't say much about her, in fact, none of my coworkers even know her name, and it creates a huge sense of mystery surrounding him. He can be pretty private. He won't tell her name to anyone who's asked about her, but he and I are pretty chummy, and I feel like if I asked, I'd be the one person he would tell. But I respect his privacy and I don't even ask him. Instead, we talk about everything else under the sun - we have a lot in common and we're becoming good friends. I get the feeling he doesn't talk about her much because he has a crush on me too. So I don't talk about my husband much, either. My coworker has trouble remembering my husband's name, and when we first started working together he had trouble remembering whether I had a boyfriend, fiancé, or husband. What kind of guy gets that stuff mixed up?

So I like him, I think he likes me back, but we're both in relationships right now. We have chemistry when we're together, but I think he's too much of a gentleman (again, he's amazing) to make a move on me or anything like that, or even say something to "clear the air." What do I do? Help!
