Miranda Kerr stepped out for lunch Saturday at LA's Cheebo with her son Flynn. She's home again in California following a quick trip last week to South Korea, where she did interviews and had a few changes including a traditional South Korean costume, for photo ops on behalf of one of her many contracts. Miranda changed into an orange dress by the evening to attend a Global Green party at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel with her husband Orlando Bloom. They mingled with his Sympathy For Delicious director and costar Mark Ruffalo at the bash, which also brought out box office winner X-Men: First Class star Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick. Orlando is a longtime celeb supporter of the eco organization, since both he and Miranda are well known for their advocacy on behalf of green causes.

Ty Burrell bested his costars Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Ed O'Neill, as well as Jon Cryer for Two and a Half Men and Glee's Chris Colfer. A lot of you had your fingers crossed for Burrell, especially since he lost to Stonestreet last year. Are you excited about this win?

The Modern Family Cast Talks About Their Emmy Underwear

Modern Family snagged their second Emmy for best comedy tonight, and since stars Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen had also received acting awards, the cast was full of glee as they hit the press room. They and their showrunners, including series creator Steve Levitan, chatted about their new streak, how much they all love each other, and their very specific underwear choices.

Ed O'Neill on winning for best comedy: "I wanted to win it very badly. For me it was better than the first time. To repeat is difficult, for us to have done it - I'm relieved."

Levitan, on how the cast will celebrate their win: "Those over 21 will be drinking. We're going to go out and have a party and hang out together and have fun."

Sofia Vergara, on what she was wearing under her gown: "I wear my underwear from Kmart from my Kmart line!"

Vergara, joking about what O'Neill was wearing under his suit: "My Kmart underwear too!"

Eric Stonestreet, on why the cast submitted themselves for supporting acting categories instead of leads: "There was really no decision. It was the same last year as it is this year. We consider ourselves an ensemble cast. No one carries the weight more than anybody else on the show."

Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen Celebrate Their Twin Emmy Wins in the Press Room

The Emmys kicked off with a pair of supporting actor and actress wins for Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen, who play married couple Phil and Claire Dunphy. It's the first win for both Burrell and Bowen, and they hit the press room together to talk about their victories, especially since they were up against a few of their costars.

Ty Burrell, on being nominated against his costars:"Everyone's been incredibly supportive of each other."
Burrell, on costar Ed O'Neill's advice to him just before the winner was announced: "Ed said, 'Just remember whoever wins deserves it.'"

Julie Bowen, on whether she expected to win: "I kind of thought it was a lock on Betty White. I think if I didn't have a dog in this fight - and I had two [herself and Sofia Vergara] - I would have voted for Betty White. Claire is not necessarily fall-down funny all the time."
Burrell, on Bowen's win: "I have to step in and say that I think it's an even greater credit to what Julie does that the straight person wins an Emmy, because I don't think that that happens very often. The fact that she won is due to her resourcefulness as an actor."
Burrell, on having support on and off screen: "I have the benefit of having a fake wife and a real wife. I get my nerves soothed by both of them. We basically get together and lean on each other and figure it out. My actual wife -" (Bowen interrupted him to call her "my sister wife") - "is a saint who comes from a long, long line of saints."
Burrell, on being part of a show that portrays gay characters in a positive light: "It feels very very good to be on a show that seems like it's slowly changing a lot of minds. Eric and Jesse obviously deserve all of the credit for that, along with our amazing showrunners. It's a great thing to just peripherally go to events or talk to family and have them start to talk about those characters like the same way they talk about the rest of the characters. It's pretty cool."
Bowen, joking about the same subject: "As a straight woman and part of a straight couple on the show, I feel marginalized. I'm happy that where it is an issue, we are helping to change minds."
