Womenswear Designer of The Year, Oscar de la Renta has surely kept his favorite customers - the ladies who lunch and Anna Wintour - happy with this collection. There are plenty of fitted suits, floppy hats, party dress, and polka dots to go around.

I think my favorite look has to be this coral taffeta ruffled number, left, which is surprisingly similar to a J. Crew dress that I've had my eye on recently. There are a few misses in the collection - a black and white polka-dotted dress with frills and a basket-weave pattern near the bottom comes to mind. But I've got to give Mr. de la Renta credit where credit is due: he does do the monochrome knee-length party dress reminiscent of those SJP wore in Sex and the City very well.

Penelope and Johnny Make a Pre-Cannes Pirate Pit Stop in Russia!

Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp popped up at the Ritz Hotel in Moscow this morning at a photo call before the Russian premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The duo are traveling the globe to promote the latest installment of the franchise, and were in LA just last Saturday for a huge Disneyland screening. The California stop came after a few days in NYC for Penelope, so she could attend the Met Ball alongside designer Oscar de la Renta. She and Johnny are next bound next for Cannes, where they'll join a roster of other A-list stars on the red carpet. Johnny and Penelope will hit the film festival alongside others like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Alexander Skarsgard, Ryan Gosling, and more. There's lots of anticipation for all the celebrities, though it seems Angelina is the one fans are most excited to see posing for photos. Hopefully, Penelope was able to take a break on Sunday to celebrate her very first Mother's Day. You ranked Penelope as your favorite new mom of the year, and she likely spent the day alongside husband Javier and their little boy Leo before jetting off on the next leg of her huge press tour. Johnny, meanwhile, will be able to reunite with partner Vanessa Paradis soon. She's already in the south of France, having headed there earlier this week to see Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel Cruise collection with Rachel Bilson and Blake Lively.
