All I have to say is: Brava! I wished for a colorful mix on the Oscars red carpet and there was one indeed. The best dressed candidates were all different colors, styles and personalities. It will be interesting whom you all vote is the best! Will it be the Fab favorite Reese in sultry aubergine Nina Ricci? Or decadently ruffled Penelope? Or the dramatic gunmetal Armani Prive clad Cate? Vote baby vote!

Fab's Oscars Number One . . . and Two and Three!

I haven't really thought of anything or talked to anyone about anything but the Oscars in the past 24 hours. Some may think this is unhealthy, I think it's completely normal. You've seen the ladies and their gowns, you've voted on your faves, and Oscar Monday has come to a close. And so, I present to you my favorites from the star-studded red carpet. This time, there was no one stand-out dress. Three ladies were Fab top to bottom, beginning with your best-dressed Heidi Klum . . .

So she wasn't up for an award. Heidi wins your best-dressed vote and mine - so that should make Heidi even more happy. Heidi confessed she worked with John Galliano on the custom Dior - that is up for auction benefiting women's heart health. I wonder whose idea it was to go over-the-top regal red. No matter, it was a great collaboration. From the high collar to the grandiose train, this dramatic gown saved the runway from a boring demise.

Her pink diamond earrings, fuchsia clutch, and candy-colored jewels brought the look to a flirtatious place. Who said you can't mix pink and red? Not Heidi.

I forgive Penelope for not wearing the artsy Dolce & Gabbana gown I picked out for her, I guess. Chanel Haute Couture is a nice alternative - especially when it's dramatic and feathery. I've professed my love for black on the red carpet and this is the perfect example of why: It's dramatic, unique, and worn with confidence. Though it's strapless - a neckline I am so over - it's a plumage-infused one. Also, she added a splash of red with her Chopard earrings. To die.

Another stunning red-wearing winner, Heigl continues to impress on the red carpet. The fit of this crimson Escada dress is impeccable. I am very nit picky about fit on the red carpet - there is no excuse for a dress not fitting correctly. She went all out with red lips and bouncy hair and her cylindrical diamond earrings are awesome. Her waist looks teensy and her shoulders sexy - especially the left one with the circle detailing. Heigl has won me over in the past year, especially here.

Oscars Red Carpet: Best Dressed

The Oscars were a bit toned down this year, with fewer red carpet attendees and lots of neutral-hued gowns. But that doesn't mean there was less gorgeousness than years past. Natalie Portman stands out in perfect pink Rodarte, but I have to admit these ivory, icy gray, cream, and champagne gowns are all winners. You loved them, but now is the time to decide on one ultimate. Who will earn the Oscars crown?

The Academy Awards come and go, but only a handful of celebrities remain on fashion-loving minds. The way I see it, this is the chance for stars to shine, so I've got no love for those who dim in the spotlight. Whether it be a bold color, a shocking silhouette, or breathtaking bling, all these ladies have stepped up to the Oscars plate. In no particular order - although Emily Blunt stole my heart in Calvin Klein at the Oscars last year - I present to you my best-dressed list of Oscars past . . . Ready for the Oscars? FabSugar Exclusive: Rachel Zoe, The Morning After

Thrilling. That best describes The Rachel Zoe Project premiere last night. The glamour, the gowns, the jewels, the tension - I knew I would be hooked the second time around, what about you? Last night we witnessed the countdown to the Golden Globes, saw Team Zoe's new studio, met some new staff, and bit our nails over the lost pink Chanel haute couture dress. Or was that just me and Rachel? I caught up with the stylist extraordinaire this morning for some coffee talk. We mostly gushed about the gorgeous gowns on last night's show, but we also chatted Brad and Taylor. Here's last night's rehash . . .

Eva's white Dior was my favorite from this year's awards season. It wasn't on the runway, how did you find it?

"The PR people sent me photos even though it wasn't sent down the runway. I'll know that Eva has something coming up, I call it a check note. That necklace is probably my favorite piece of jewelry - ever. When I worked with Keira Knightley for the Oscars in '06, there was this vintage Bulgari piece and this brought that memory back to me. There's nothing like an incredible blob of turquoise. It's a dream scenario."

Speaking of jewelry, how did emeralds call out to you for Debra's navy Vera Wang?

"I love to see color. I don't want to do anything expected, or odd. The idea of emeralds with the navy is a younger, modern way to make something glamorous. You don't need diamonds for glamour. I love mixing colors, the less perfect the better."

Cameron's pink Chanel - have you asked designer's to alter before? Just not Karl? Why were you so nervous?

"Yes, I have, but Karl Lagerfeld is up there with my three heroes of all time. When you ask to make a change to an already-brilliant design, it's scary. What if it doesn't work? At the end of the day Cameron is my priority. I want to do what's politically correct, but also what's best for my client. You weigh your odds there. It was scary. Had he said no, I would have had to move on. The worst he could say is no."

New studio? Upgrade! And more staff?

"We actually have two studios now. One for the digital side of my business (The Zoe Report). We're growing Rachel Zoe Inc. And Jordan (the intern) and Marisa (Zoe's assistant). Poor Marisa is so innocent, she's the golden child of the group. She helps balance it out. Brad provides a lot of comic relief, when I'm having a really tense moment, Brad makes me laugh at it all."

It appears Brad and Taylor are getting along better. When they moved the desks downstairs, they banded together as brats. It was funny to see that banter.

"They are, but trust me they still have their moments. And they banter, for better or for worse."

When they talk about you, how does it make you feel?

"Brad isn't really built that way. It's more important to me that they get along with one another than they get pleasure out of making fun of me or patronizing me. If they weren't doing their jobs the way they do, they wouldn't be there. I wouldn't put up with it. We all know where we stand with one another. I compare it to a real family. You take abuse and you make up as if nothing ever happened. Or we don't even make up and just move on. They are so loyal."

It seems this season is going to get heavy with Taylor questioning her loyalty.

"Oh yeah. She'll be doing all season what she did last night. She's bored to tears, but she's not going to complain. But you do see a lighter side of Taylor. She's not programmed that way. I prefer she is who she is on camera, and not pretending to be something she's not. She has a heart of gold, I promise you that." Photo courtesy of Bravo

What did you think of this year's Oscars? Here's my take. I enjoyed the show more, with the fresh talent, cool sets, and quick editing, but the red carpet wasn't the most exciting. Aside from some of my red-carpet favorites not even walking the red carpet, there were simply too many ivory and beige gowns. There, I said it. That doesn't mean these dresses weren't beautiful, it was simply safe, and safe is boring to me. Nonetheless, we still made a party out of it. Fab's Oscar Top Three

What I enjoyed about this year's Oscars was the chance for some red carpet newbies to shine.

Though I was super disappointed red carpet superstars Cate, Reese, and Nicole were either absent or didn't walk the red carpet, it was nice seeing new enthusiastic faces. Especially Benjamin Button nominee Taraji Henson. Every time the camera chose her, she was smiling and bright. Her buttercream Roberto Cavalli confection was absolutely delectable, I wanted to eat it up. The tiered cascading gown also had the perfect size fishtail, not too overwhelming, but still dramatic. I'm sure you also noticed her vintage necklace - 19th-century Fred Leighton. She gave a nod to the red carpet (and added a punch of color) with her burgundy silk Mary Norton clutch.

I didn't realize how much I missed Natalie on the red carpet until last night when she floated by in her orchid pink Rodarte. I started to get bored with all the neutral hued gowns, so Natalie held my attention. The asymmetrical ruched bodice and Swarovski crystal detailing are sweet, subtle touches. She wore simple Kwiat vintage diamonds - vintage studs, a large deco cuff, and stackable rings - all the better to let her lovely hued dress and gorgeous face shine. Her vampy nails added some spice to her sweet ensemble.

Both of the ladies from The Wrestler looked stellar last night; Evan Rachel Wood and Tomei both made our Best Dressed poll. Marisa's dove gray Versace got better and better by the minute. And did I mention she worked it? She had one of the most precise trains and she vogued like crazy; Tomei's got the red carpet thing down. The spirals and folds on the skirt fanned out to create such an awesome effect. Her totally toned arms wore a cool Van Cleef & Arpels diamond and sapphire bracelet while she also showed off a diamond ring and lapis lazuli and diamond earrings.

2009 Fall New York Fashion Week: Marchesa

I knew Marchesa was going to be special when, as I ran into the entrance to escape the rain, Diane Kruger's and my eyes met. Only for a nanosecond, as she was on her way back into the rain, she slipped on her shades and was off like Cinderella. Many of the billowing gowns and fairytale frocks inside were fit for princess Diane. It was nasty outside, fantasy inside.

I was a Marchesa presentation virgin and I can never go back. Marchesa, always romantic and enchanting, served layers and layers of tulle, silk chiffon, ribbons, embroideries, bows, sequins, and lace. A celestial theme of shooting stars, sparkle, and unicorns felt fantastical. This lilac chiffon-draped dress with embroidered bodice can easily earn Kate Winslet a best dressed nod at the Oscars this weekend. The shoes, by Louboutin, were satin, super high, and sometimes glittered and laced. While Marchesa's gowns tend to steal the spotlight, a couple pant ensembles were sharp; tuxedo trousers paired with romantic ruffles blouses and sculptured jackets. Smitten yet?
