I wasn't sure if the whole loafer trend was right for me, but I recently snagged a great deal on a pair at a thrift store. They're a beautiful camel color and surprisingly comfortable. Now, I have my eyes on these Yves Saint Laurent Loafer Pumps ($440). The sharp pointed toe gives them a sexy edge and the hidden platform front will keep my toes comfy all day long. Only problem with these babies is their price tag.

All The Hills girls were in attendance for Lauren Conrad's runway debut at LA Fashion Week - and I was there, too! I was sitting across the way from Audrina, Lo, and the gang, so I got a good look at how Fab Whitney's cut-out heels were - no surprise, since her wardrobe is your favorite from The Hills. Turns out they were Opening Ceremony Cut-Out Oxford Pumps ($335), a little pricey but a lot of chic.

The Look for Less: Derek Lam Federica Leather Platform

If you're going for a stylish but unconventional look, an open-toed oxford-style slingback like this Derek Lam Federica Leather Platform ($375, originally $750) is definitely a Fab option. Unfortunately, its score on the wallet-friendly scale isn't so high, so I found a shoe that has the same great design without the high price.

I Want This Wardrobe: Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf

In last night's episode, prior to the drama with the photo shoot, Blair and Serena went on a mini shopping spree. Well, not so mini considering the shopping bags they're toting. Serena chose to go casual in her grey skinny Wrangler jeans, BCBG denim vest and Gucci Indy bag. As usual, Blair was dressed up in a Milly dress, black tights and oxford pumps.

This is one of my favorite Blair looks so far because she looks polished and a tad androgynous. Though sometimes she overdoes it with the tights, they go really well with this outfit. If you'd like to go shopping and look this chic, get her look below.

Trendspotting: Not-So-Classic Oxford Collars

With all this recent talk about the oxford comma, we thought we'd shine some light on another very important oxford: the oxford collar. We saw the menswear-inspired look in the Spring and Resort collections at Louis Vuitton, Carven and Jason Wu, as well as on some supremely styled celebs - Rose Byrne paired her polka-dot collared shirt with slim-fitting black pants and pumps for a movie screening, while Jamie Chung stepped out at Sundance in a cool leopard pullover over a collared shirt and colored jeans. Finally, Fearne Cotton walked the streets of London in a laid-back chambray tunic-style top with black leggings and a cozy knit coat. 2011 Fall Milan Fashion Week: MaxMara

Sleek and minimal country coziness was the theme at MaxMara. Mohair, cashmere, and wool were refined into somewhat futuristic, minimalist silhouettes and finished with sharp metal buckles; tailored menswear coats made a luxurious reference to the Scottish kilt via fur skirts, and by the end, good old-fashioned tartan was reshaped into slim silhouettes and given luxurious beading. The mostly cool color palette - Winter white, blush, gray - gave the collection a Winter wonderland allure. While the clothes were ultra chic and sophisticated, the textiles made it ultra wearable. Who wouldn't want to spend a day in a mohair sweater and knit maxi skirt?

Trends: Minimalism, knitwear, futuristic, tartan, cutouts, sheer.
Colors: Winter white, blush, camel, mauve, black, cream, gray.
Key Looks: The blush mohair coat over camel turtleneck and knit leggings was particularly delicious.
