Since I'm a design fiend, I think my friends expect to receive decorating gifts from me. But it really can be just as hard to shop for décor gifts as it is for clothes. Year after year, I struggle to find something that appeals to their tastes and lifestyles.

I think I'm onto something, though. A few of my friends are big party girls, in the sense they that they are constantly hosting get-togethers and cocktail parties of all sorts. I've decided that a serving tray would be a great gift for these ladies. It's obviously great for entertaining, but can also be used as wall art or to organize knickknacks day to day. But you don't need to splurge to throw a good bash; remember college? You don't need a beer bong apparatus either; you can help your partying pals be the best hostesses ever by picking up one or two easy gifts. Lucky you, I've picked a few out at varying prices.

A Fabby Halloween: Party Girl

H-h-hello? If you're going to be Parker Posey's best role in this mid-90 flick for Halloween you need to perfect her signature greeting. This film actually had a big influence in my moving to the big bad city of NYC in the late '90s. Mary's club kid life was so cool and quirky‚ or so I thought. She couldn't pay rent, but she did what any style maven does and struggled in style. From party girl to librarian, Mary stomped around in blobby platforms, bold hats, animal prints and themed getups. This is an easy costume to recreate - just raid your and your friends' ten-year-old clothes. Throw in some updated razzle-dazzle, put on some Deee-Lite and you're party girl ready.

The Party Girl doesn't care what time it is, because it's always time to par-tay. But she loves anything bold, sparkly and sexy. This Betsey Johnson watch would not serve its functional purpose on this wild child, but it will certainly serve its fashionable one. Such is the life of the girl who claims Lindsay Lohan to be her idol. She loves her trendy and disposable clothes and accessories, even if they end up doffed on the dance floor at night's end. What's Buzzworthy: Comfort Movies

Wow, you all really blew me away with your response to my most recent Buzzworthy challenge about comfort movies. Your lists of trusty favorites were fantastic - but I really loved reading your descriptions of how and why the movies came to be your fallback films. It was so hard to pick some to list here, so I highly recommend reading through them all yourselves! Tough as it was to choose, here are just a few of the many that caught my eye:

The Princess Bride
Bookmarked by Fab_Kitty, who wrote: "When stuck in bed on a sick day, I always watch The Princess Bride. In a fevered delirium, I also always giggle and think about how little Fred Savage and I are both escaping our illnesses through the endearing story of Wesley and Buttercup. Hooray for being easily amused!"

Party Girl
This Parker Posey movie was tagged by marcella, who said: "Great comfort movie with a hilarious Parker Posey as the title character that parties so much that she can't afford to pay her rent. She gets a job as a librarian. It's totally a trashy film, but I turn to it when I want to turn my brain off and just laugh."

PinkUnicorn picked this movie, which is another one of my own reliable favorites. She wrote: "The ultimate comfort movie! I love the exploration of how women's relationships with each other evolve over time. Plus it is simple yet touching. I have memorized every line!"

Being There
Phil picked out this movie, saying: "Every comfort movie needs a comforting figure. And to me, none can be more comforting than Chance, better known as Chauncy Gardener.

This movie is great in the sense that you can accept it at any frequency. Whether if I'm in an overly contemplative mood and want to think and run around in a circle in my mind, this movie works. But, only when I turn off and just appreciate the film for its hilarious scenes and misconceptions do I really appreciate Hal Ashby's brilliant little satire."

Dead Poets Society
scorpstarr77 picked a movie that's had a huge impact on her life: "This movie is the reason I was an English major in college, the reason I decided to become a teacher, and the reason I fell head over heels for Josh Charles at a young age. I find it uplifting and inspiring, and also devastating - always there when I need a good cry!"

Home Alone

Finding Nemo
Here's how Phasekitty explained why she's partial to this Pixar flick: "My boyfriend loves horror movies, but when I watch them I get scared and have trouble falling asleep. He knows now that if he wants to see a scary movie with me, all he has to do is have this movie on standby that night. A little Finding Nemo to take my mind of the aliens, serial killers, zombies, and vampires and I'm sleeping like a baby."

So now that the holidays are almost over, are you all ready to party on!? This week I am going to salute four different party girl personalities and every day build a look she would wear on New Years. It would be awesome if you could all go Fab Finding and we could build the outfits together!

Today's party girl is Glam-o-Rama Gal - inspired by non other than L.A.M.B designer, singer and mommy extraordinaire Gwen Stefani. Milla Jovovich Tells Us Her Cannes Highlight During a Night With Heidi, Alec, and the Hiltons

Last night was a busy one for many celebrities at Cannes. Milla Jovovich was decked out to make the rounds, starting at the Chopard and L'Oréal bash at the Hotel Martinez. She mingled at L'Oréal with fellow brand ambassadors Luisana Lopilato and model Natasha Poly. We caught a moment with Milla at the soiree, and she spoke about what her favorite part of the festival has been. Milla said, "The last two years I brought my daughter, so it's all about getting my work done and getting back to bed to sleep with my little girl. She was all day at the beach - loves it, loves it. She met a little friend here. They're best friends now - in the whole world - after one day together." Milla and her husband Paul W. S. Anderson are the proud parents of 4-year-old Ever.

The next stop on the party agenda was de Grisogono's Glam Extravaganza at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in nearby Antibes. There, Milla caught up with celeb pals like Heidi Klum, Alec Baldwin and his fiancée Hilaria Thomas, Adrien Brody, and the Hilton sisters. Both Nicky and Paris are making the rounds this week. Nicky, though, has her new boyfriend in town, too - we spotted her out on a dinner date with new guy James Rothschild, an English banking heir.
