Since I'm a design fiend, I think my friends expect to receive decorating gifts from me. But it really can be just as hard to shop for décor gifts as it is for clothes. Year after year, I struggle to find something that appeals to their tastes and lifestyles.

I think I'm onto something, though. A few of my friends are big party girls, in the sense they that they are constantly hosting get-togethers and cocktail parties of all sorts. I've decided that a serving tray would be a great gift for these ladies. It's obviously great for entertaining, but can also be used as wall art or to organize knickknacks day to day. A Fabby Halloween: Party Girl

H-h-hello? If you're going to be Parker Posey's best role in this mid-90 flick for Halloween you need to perfect her signature greeting. This film actually had a big influence in my moving to the big bad city of NYC in the late '90s. Mary's club kid life was so cool and quirky‚ or so I thought. She couldn't pay rent, but she did what any style maven does and struggled in style. From party girl to librarian, Mary stomped around in blobby platforms, bold hats, animal prints and themed getups. This is an easy costume to recreate - just raid your and your friends' ten-year-old clothes. Throw in some updated razzle-dazzle, put on some Deee-Lite and you're party girl ready.

The Party Girl doesn't care what time it is, because it's always time to par-tay. But she loves anything bold, sparkly and sexy. This Betsey Johnson watch would not serve its functional purpose on this wild child, but it will certainly serve its fashionable one. What's Buzzworthy: Comfort Movies

Wow, you all really blew me away with your response to my most recent Buzzworthy challenge about comfort movies. Your lists of trusty favorites were fantastic - but I really loved reading your descriptions of how and why the movies came to be your fallback films. It was so hard to pick some to list here, so I highly recommend reading through them all yourselves! Tough as it was to choose, here are just a few of the many that caught my eye:

The Princess Bride

In a fevered delirium, I also always giggle and think about how little Fred Savage and I are both escaping our illnesses through the endearing story of Wesley and Buttercup. This Parker Posey movie was tagged by marcella, who said: "Great comfort movie with a hilarious Parker Posey as the title character that parties so much that she can't afford to pay her rent. She gets a job as a librarian. It's totally a trashy film, but I turn to it when I want to turn my brain off and just laugh."

So now that the holidays are almost over, are you all ready to party on!? This week I am going to salute four different party girl personalities and every day build a look she would wear on New Years. It would be awesome if you could all go Fab Finding and we could build the outfits together!

Today's party girl is Glam-o-Rama Gal - inspired by non other than L.A.M.B designer, singer and mommy extraordinaire Gwen Stefani. This gal loves her leopard prints, red lipstick and curve-hugging wardrobe. Help me put together a drop dead New Years outfit for this personality. David Beckham taped an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show in London on Saturday. He was in England last week promoting his new underwear line for H&M, which we got a closer look at during the sexy, shirtless commercial that aired during the Super Bowl yesterday. David covered up in a suit on Friday night to party with pal Prince Harry at the exclusive Arts Club. David's recent talk show appearance was focused on his family, though, and he shared sweet quotes about his little girl Harper and the possibility of expanding the Beckham bunch. On expecting another boy: "After having three boys, you just assume that you’re going to have another boy, but when we got told she was a little girl, it was amazing."
On adding to the family: "We might have one more or two more, you never know. We’re not thinking about it yet, but if it happens, great. We’re enjoying the kids as it is. It’s always a thought."
On Harper having big brothers: "I just want them to protect her when she’s at that age. At that age when she needs protecting. Cruz does taekwondo, Brooklyn does boxing and Romeo does karate, so they’ll all be ready. Cruz is the one who’s going to really look after Harper, he’s the tough one."
