This was the living room in my former home; walking into it always made me smile! This was my pastel and floral phase! I covered the ottoman with a brown zebra fabric and the pillows in a vintage-inspired, brown floral by Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom. I made the other pillows as well. You can't see it, but there is an armchair covered in a sweet pink velvet, too. With the fresh peonies and pops of turquoise, it looked glorious on a daily basis! I love the large white tray, which contrasts wonderfully with all of the color!

At her friend's medical school graduation party, jennyjenny was the pastel darling of the night. In that adorable dress, it would be hard not to steal glances left and right. While I'm still contemplating whether or not to incorporate pastels into my wardrobe, Whitney Port has already made her decision. The reality star was recently snapped at LAX airport debuting a pair of pastel pink glasses. They sort of made her outfit, wouldn't you say? The Alexander Wang gray sweatshirt and shredded white jeans are cool, but a pretty hint of pastel made the look more charming. If you're hesitant to dabble with pastels, sunglasses are a good place to start. Baby steps, baby steps.
