Fab reader dadouchic's '50s-inspired daytime ensemble was bubbly and bright, and the patterns and colors gave it the perfect retro face-lift. We loved her pairing of a polka dot blouse with bubble gum pink skinny jeans and marigold accessories. The eye-catching, tight-fitting pink pants from Zara complemented the loose, polka dot tank blouse from H&M. It's always a rollicking good time to look at a Moschino show, and the Fall 2012 collection brings us a quirky mix of styles - military, ski, '60s - all filtered through the Moschino prism of color and indulgent detail. Short, flirty dresses were outfitted with feathers and abundant ruffles, capes and jackets were outfitted with military epaulettes, capes featured quilted fronts, and skirts were unabashedly mini - forget all the ladylike midi lengths we've been seeing on the runways elsewhere. Bright poppy colors on structured minis and coats harkened to the '60s. The Moschino lady is one who still loves dressing up the way she did in high school, stealing her chic mother's clothes and wearing them all at once in a jubilant mix. It's never too serious, which is why it continues to be so much fun.

Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Fendi joined forces to create an apocalyptic-chic collection for Fall 2012 - the wintery, forest-inspired vibe was evident, as models walked the runway in luxe layers of patent PVC and colored fur, looking gorgeously aggressive and ready for battle. Most of the pieces looked as if they had been literally cut from different cloths - oversize fur coats with contrasting sleeves, leather dresses with pleated bustles and wide corset belts, and tailored coats with cowhide bibs - all fashioned in a woodsy color palette of greens, navies, and neutrals. Models' makeup was left mostly natural, save for white wings painted on their eyelids to mimic Lagerfeld's "snow on branches" aesthetic, and hairstylist Sam McKnight created strong, severe coifs to further lend to the collection's Victorian warrior princess vibe. Tommy Hilfiger set the mood for his collection this evening at the Park Avenue Armory creating an Autumnal park paradise complete with wooden benches, pretty Fall trees, The Beatles playing in the backdrop, and even gravel to sink our booties into. As expected, the designer showcased his classic American style, but this time, interjected a completely modern spin to his mix via silk cable-knit printed dresses, luxe leather riding pants, and plenty of Glen plaid suits to go around. The classic pea coat was treated with a brilliant patent finish and trench coats received a smart colorblock detail on the sleeves. There were also plenty of quilted pieces, suede shirtdresses, A-line skirts, and tailored hunting jackets emoted a regal equestrian feel. Hilfiger exemplified the perfect mix of old and new - and we're loving every bit of it.

No girl can resist Karen Walker's cool-girl style, and, as expected, the designer gave us more to look forward to with her Spring 2012 collection. Her "American Girl" theme, inspired by the classic flick Taxi Driver, showed gorgeous prints and soft tailoring. Described as "equal parts Betsey and Iris," the collection highlighted a mix of painterly florals, check, and polka-dot prints. Silhouettes were soft and louche as models - accessorized with the cutest printed turbans, sunglasses, patent loafers, and baseball caps - walked down the runway in a range of silk and crepe de Chine peplum blouses, strapless jumpers, shirt dresses, and pajama trousers.
