Erin Fetherston's Target collection isn't supposed to hit stores until November 18, but in true Target form, some pieces are already available online, including the dress at left and a cute ivory cocoon coat.

This collection has been polarizing - either you Love It or Hate It - because of its super girly-girl feel. The peter pan collars, heart bags, and minidresses were all showcased during a (too) long introductory commercial that you probably caught if you watched The Hills last night.

Have a good long gaze at the collection below, and then spill: will you be hitting the Erin Fetherston racks at Target?

Look of the Day: Prim and Proper

ohohmommio felt like going prim and proper, so she suited up in pencil skirt, reptile bag, fishnets, and topped it off with a dash of mustard. It's that final condiment that makes the ensemble: the jacket's belted waist and peter pan collar flatter her and provide a retro vibe.

Found! Katherine Heigl's Red Pea Coat

Yesterday I came across this Juicy Couture Double Breasted Coat, $398, and was mesmerized by it. Today, I saw that Katherine Heigl apparently was too: she was wearing it at Advocate Magazine's party last night! The peter pan collar and gold buttons are especially adorable. Although she has way too much red going on with her Valentino bag, red Louboutin soles and the coat, she still looks like one scorching lady in red.

Did you all know that Elle (the magazine) has a clothing collection at Kohl's? Talk about wearing all sorts of hats at once! Right now, the Elle collection at Kohl's is on sale and there are some cute items to be had, like this Trapeze Crop Jacket, $20 (originally $30). One can never have enough black cover ups and the Peter Pan collar on this one is so lovely.

Look of the Day: Not So Mellow Yellow

Wendybird33 did a spot-on job channeling Rachel Bilson at the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 party in her not so mellow yellow outfit! She even mastered the actress' red-carpet pose. I love the juxtaposition of the oh-so-current bright yellow of the cropped jacket and its 60s-inspired mod buttons. And the Peter Pan collar is just the icing on the cake - so playful-cum-girly.

New York Fashion Week, Fall 2007: Erin Fetherston

Relatively new to the runway, but definitely distinctive, Erin Fetherston's designs are what little big girls dream about. Super feminine and girly, while remaining modern, here is a collection that wisks you away to a beautiful boudoir floating in space. Fittingly, she named the collection “Wandering Stars."

The colors were neutral: black, grey, white and taupe but the collection felt far from drab with plump silhouettes and metallic sprinklings. The collection was all dresses, and reminded me of nightgowns you could wear out for a night on the town. Fabrics were light, sheers, tulles and chiffons, and heavy, velvet and brocades. Dreamy touches like the one shoulder and peter pan collars played up the youthful feel; bra tops on dresses added a subtle sex appeal. Prints and beading showed up in star and heart prints. All looks were escorted by grey sheer knit thigh highs and lovely beaded beanies.
