We just got our hands on the Jason Wu for Target lookbook, showing the line in its 53-piece entirety. The "gamine chic" collection, inspired by French new-wave films, drops online and in stores on Feb. 5 featuring a range of pieces reflecting girlie nuances with a fresh twist via crisp peplum tops, sweet floral-print dresses, Peter Pan collars, and pleated skirts. Striped colorblocking, sheer floaty blouses, and chic structured totes and handbags were also a focal point in the line. "I wanted the collection to have a sophisticated voice with an American sportswear spin,” said Wu. The best part? Everything is priced under $60. This is a collection we can't wait to shop. We love her play on funky fabrics, a neutral palette, and length proportions plus, we have to give her infinite brownie points for transforming a pared down scalloped accent into something altogether edgy, chic, and current.

A pert collar is one of Fall's sharpest trends, and we're digging the look on style-savvy celebs. It adds a ladylike finish to a look, be it Rachel Bilson's floral collar on her Preen dress, or Abbie Cornish's sexy but proper Louis Vuitton frock. Here are the key tips on the trend:

For a sweeter result, go for a peter pan collar, which means a rounded collar rather than a pointed one. It's girlier, but it's also a fun way to add a little flirtiness to severe dresses, or make a sheer dress a bit playful.

For a crisp look, choose the traditional pointed collar. Experiment with color and print: to get Rachel Bilson's look, try a floral blouse under your basic black crewneck sweater and see how it totally updates it.

As these stars show, this look works great for evening. Try a collared shirt with embellishment, and tuck it into a pair of sexy leather leggings, or go a bit more proper with a full skirt.
