A Fab reader recently wrote in asking us to start PetiteSugar. Since that's not on the roster (but you never know...) we decided we could do a Fab Body Guide dedicated to petites.
I lightly touched on the subject with Rachel Bilson, but here are many more helpful tips on how to elongate your silhouette, accessories dos and don'ts, and online retail shops with stylish fashions for petites.

I can never tire of great little floral dresses. Mon Petit Oiseau answers my LFD calling, and gives me even more: designer Tracy Wilkinson has bestowed her Fall collection with wooly scarves, high-waisted tweedy skirts, and retro seventies prints.
Wilkinson's clothes are not the only thing that is cute; the story behind the name 'Mon Petit Oiseau' is pretty good too.

Being petite can make finding the perfect swimsuit quite a challenge. Don't get me wrong, having a petite figure can be lots of fun! Smaller bodies can get away with loud prints and fun cuts.

If you're a petite woman looking for a push in the bust department, check out The Little Bra Company. What makes this brand stand out from others is that it specializes in bras with the petite woman in mind.
See, the trick is in the specially formulated cups, which are cut closer together for maximum, natural cleavage.

Before the high waists of the 70s and the low waists of the 90s, there was the drop waist of the 20s. It seems many of you were ready for a new decade of influence and Paul Poiret's liberating style of yore is here to liberate us once again. With all the flapper-inspired gallimaufry for Fall, drop waist dresses evoke a sense of ease and sophistication - a stellar combination.

In case you didn't notice, that's actress Julianne Moore roaming the streets of NYC. She's newly blonde and a total babe - but I loved her as a redhead; what do you think about the drastic change? I adore her sophisticated black and white ensemble, especially the Cartier Marcello de Cartier bag and Chloe sunglasses!

Maria Sharapova is one of my style icons, so if she's donning the teensy chain bag trend, I will too. After some perusing, I found this Petite Quilted Chain Bag. I'm smitten with the warm camel tone and interesting chain and leather strap.

Anyone heard of the denim brand Not Your Daughter's Jeans? The name is a bit awkward, but the product impresses. Dubbed the original tummy tuck jean, these were created for curvier, full-figured women.
