New York Fashion Week is always a whirlwind, and it's important to stop and smell the fashion roses. In my final roundup, soak up sleek styles from Tommy Hilfiger, edgy chic by Kimberly Ovitz, and pretty musings by Erin Fetherston. Phi (pictured) was my final show - front row Traina spotting! - and it was every bit irreverent as expected. Trend Alert: Gorge(ous) Gloves

Gloves have a certain mystique. Then there's the upped glam factor when you slip into gorge(ous) gloves. Remember how screen sirens of yore seduced with their Hollywood waves and sexy satin gloves? It may be early Fall, but Lily Allen mixes things up in her black ruched gloves; with her dark shades she looks very incognito chic. The best part, depending on where you dwell: gloves are functional. Cold coziers start scoping out leather and cashmere; sun worshippers feast on lace and fingerless.

It's official. We have a girl crush on Emmy Rossum. At the LA premiere of Orphan, the actress showed off a stellar creation from Phi. This time, she kept the rad black ruching to a minimum and wore a black and white paisley print confection - I love the high neckline and structured shape. For footwear, the actress donned her favorite pair of Stuart Weitzman platform sandals. What a severe yet sweet look.

Fab Ad: Phi, Fall '09

For Fall '09, Phi created an amazing ad featuring top blondes Anna Selezneva, Sasha Pivovarova, and Natasha Poly. Seriously, when the models and clothes are this hot, photographer Steven Meisel saw no need to add color to this sexy, slick campaign. Check out the beauties wearing Phi's divinely dark moto zip jackets, knit dresses, leather leggings, and sassy miniskirts. It's all very biker-chic with a sophisticated touch. Also, take note of the majorly teased heavy-metal hair - a nod to the '80s theme but not overly so. I like to call it posh punk.

Fab Ad: Phi Fall/Winter '08

Phi has been alive since 2003 but the house just came out with its first ad campaign for Fall. Why did it take this long? The brand had a shaky start, but decided now is the right time to come out from under the radar. So who better to represent the brand than model-of-the-moment Coco Rocha and gorgeous model-pro Karen Elson? Isn't it interesting how the usually redhead Karen is brunette and the usually brunette Coco is redhead?! Shot by Steven Meisel, these ads are obviously inspired by the old Hollywood pinup era. Not only is there nothing wrong with that, there's something so right about it. You know Dita Von Teese would approve. Do you?

NY Fashion Week: Victoria's Secret Phi Beta Pink

For New York Fashion Week, Victoria's Secret Pink built a sorority-themed showroom promoting its Phi Beta Pink collection for fall, as well as a Rock Royalty Holiday line, which hits stores Oct. 17. Strewn throughout three sorority-house bedrooms and a common area were piles of cute pieces from the Pink lounge and sleepwear line, which is targeted to girls ages 18 to 22.

Phi Beta Pink, which is available now but will have more colors coming at the end of the fall, features cute, girly items emblazoned with with fun slogans, like "Phi Beta Pink," "Just Woke Up," and "More Pink Pretty Please!" It also includes a number of accessories, such as scarves with hoods, fingerless gloves, leg warmers, and totes. The holiday collection, which has the theme of Rock Royalty, will be available in stores starting on Oct. 17 and run through Dec. 26. The clothes are very soft, made of fabrics such as velour, cashmere-blend sweaters, faux-fur hoodies, thermal leggings, and drawstring pajama sets. The pieces are also adorned with some fabulous bling; I especially like the studded robes and sweats. There's even a Pink guitar case and a new Pink jewelry box. The colors are fun and bright, with lots of hot pinks and greens but also some grays and blacks for the more neutral Pink girl. And just who is the Pink girl? According to Mary Beth Wood, PR manager for Victoria's Secret Pink, "In essence, the Pink girl is super hip; she's not someone that can be defined. She has her own style and individuality. She can be flirty, fun, soft, sweet, or sporty as well as have a funky, rocker edge to her. Pink is like an exclusive club that every girl wants to be a part of. The lines are about an attitude, not an age."

Model of the Week: Coco Rocha

I've likened model Coco Rocha to a turtle, watched her get illustrated, and listened when she spoke up at the CFDA model health discussion. It was only a matter of time until I got to chat with her about the ongoings of her busy career as one of today's It models.

For those who aren't familiar with Coco, she was born in Toronto, Canada on September 10, 1988. Not only is she a world-famous model, she's also a professional Canadian Irish dancer. She's even melded her two careers by dancing down Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall '07 runway. Apparently, Coco isn't her birth name, but rather taken from a French term of endearment, "mon petit coco," translated "my little sweetheart." Aw!

Be sure to hear what beauty advice Coco has to give, too.

We really admire you working towards the model health issue with the CFDA. What's your take on the progress of the issue?

It is on the right path. Since the speech I’ve heard nothing but good things on how people are looking for change.

Congrats on landing Phi¹s first ad campaign! How did that come about and are there any interesting behind the scenes stories you can share?

It was lots of fun, especially working for the first time with Karen Elson, a fellow pale model. We were comparing who was farer!

If your house was burning down and you could only save one clothing item, what would it be and why?

It wouldn’t be clothing but my new puppy, PeekABoo!

What is one destination you still need a stamp for on your passport?

The North Pole.

Who are your favorite designers and why?

Rag & Bone, [Jean Paul] Gaultier, YSL.

What are three words that describe your personal style?

Fun, feminine, diverse.

What upcoming projects are you most excited about?

I’m going home to Vancouver to relax and be with family and friends; it’s the best project ever!
