This pirate skull and crossbones has been painted on a pier by Craftster member Acidtrix, who writes, "We (my mom and her boyfriend, my boyfriend and myself, and the occasional curious neighbor) built a new dock at my mom's place. It's made out of red cedar and is supported by a pontoon-like system made of large PVC pipes. the dock itself is 20 feet by 8 feet, and the ramp is 16 feet by 4 feet. This is my boyfriend's and my first real experience with power tools and I stupidly neglected to take progress shots of the build until the very end . . . I decided any self-respecting sea vessel needs a jolly roger, so I decided to stain one into the wood of the dock." Acidtrix first taped off the image, then she and her mother stained the image into the dock. Finally, they covered it with a UV-protected sealant to ensure that this skull and crossbones stays jolly for many seasons to come. You can read more about her project over on Craftster.

The last time Lindsay Lohan was featured on Celebrity Style, it was on her 21st birthday, pre-rehab. It's good to have her back. Not much has changed about her style and she's been on a shopping binge. Urban Outfitters seems to be her favorite shop at the moment - both her plum colored bags are from there. Though she didn't dress up for Halloween, she has a modern pirate look going here!

When we got to to see the first trailer for the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, On Stranger Tides, it felt like there was a little bit of the franchise's magic missing. Now we have trailer number two, and it's a bit more exciting than the first.

As expected, it has more of Johnny Depp's one-liners as Captain Jack Sparrow, along with some sexy sparring with costar Penelope Cruz. More importantly, we also get to see a bit more of the mermaid factor, and why they're such a big part of this sequel. One is needed to help the Captain Jack and his rival Blackbeard (Ian McShane) to get to The Fountain of Youth - the thin but interesting objective of the movie. Penelope Cruz Heads Home to Madrid With Her Pirates

Vogue cover girl Penelope Cruz changed up her promotional outfits today by wearing a one-piece, instead of a long dress, to the Madrid photo call for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides held at the city's Villamagna Hotel. She's in her native Spain after a whirlwind promotional schedule that kicked off over a week ago in LA, where she and costar Johnny Depp debuted the movie with a huge todo at Disneyland. Penelope and Johnny were then off to Moscow, London, and, finally, Cannes for a star-studded screening during the film festival. Despite our hopes, neither Johnny nor Penelope have hit the red carpet with their respective significant others Vanessa Paradis and Javier Bardem. In fact, Johnny seems to be sitting out the last leg of the promotional endeavors. Penelope was solo for yesterday's event in Munich, and this morning she had only costars Sam Claflin and Astrid-Berges Frisbey as well as producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Penelope has one more Pirates premiere this evening in her home city, and she's sure to keep the fab press tour fashion coming.
