I love me some patent leather flats, and without meaning to, I have quite the personal collection. I won't say I've reached my quota - that'll never happen - and these cute vintage black flats ($19) are definitely tempting.

Thank goodness they're not my size, because the polka dot motif would look perfect with a bright-colored dress for Spring. If you're a size 8, they're calling your name . . .

Tabasco red and polka dot all over - how scrumptious! This Marc by Marc Jacobs Maired Dot Lawn Top, on sale for $140, is a piece every true Marc gal should have in their closet. It's so unfussy yet can still convey a put together look. Thrown on with a pair of jeans and flats, it would look so darling. What I love most about it, though, is that it's a tad vintage-y (Marc tends to have that effect, even on his RTW clothes). And the asymmetrical ruffles make it so femme. Note to self: Must have NOW!

Polka-dotted dresses-like the one Jessica Simpson wore to the Employee of the Month premiere-are popping up everywhere. Sure, Jess looked a little weird that night, but I love her dress. The Look For Less: Armani Collezioni Polka-Dot Skirt

What a pretty alternative this French Connection Polka Dot Skirt ($148) is. It has eye-catching dots, a gorgeous oversized bow, and a beautiful gold background. It doesn't come cheap, but I think it's justified considering how lovely and ladylike it is. Score!
