Hip, hip, hooray! Pom poms are here to stay. Sometimes the fuzzy little balls border on kitschy, but in the right place, they're just dreamy. On table cloths, pillowcases, and perhaps around a simple lampshade, the cheery trim can add a bit of punch and a lot of personality. While 60 percent of you hated the black pom pom adorned Diesel pillow, I'm hedging my bets that you'll like some of these feisty finds below.

There are two types of pom-poms. The Summer pom, often found on sandals and scarves, is funky and festive. The Winter pom provides spunk to sweaters and hats. Both allow fun with pom-poms. The pom-pom is an adorable detail that signifies humor and not taking yourself too seriously. Totally fun.

In the midst of all of the end-of-year madness, sometimes it's nice to take a breather. Let's face it: Holidays may mean you take off time from work, but they're no vacation.

To get some true you time, you're taking a weekend escape to a friend's cabin up in Lake Tahoe. I started you off with this Floral Crochet Hat ($28) because it's a cute topper and will keep your head cozy. Be sure to check out all the Winter escape Fab Finds.

If you're a fan of reality television, then you've probably watched, and enjoyed, a few episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The ladies on the show are larger than life, gorgeous, and extravagant, but there was one star this season that rose above the rest, Giggy the Pomeranian. Giggy's lavish wardrobe and laid-back personality mirror that of another petite pom, and he's becoming increasingly popular on Twitter. Unabashedly Over-the-Top Romantic Decadence From the New Shakespeare Film Anonymous

Opening Oct. 28, Anonymous posits the question, "Was Shakespeare a fraud?" The theory has been raised many times throughout literary history, and the upcoming drama directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Rhys Ifans and Vanessa Redgrave is only the latest.

While Anonymous may not answer any definitive questions about Shakespeare's identity, it does address the luxurious look of Queen Elizabeth's castle, seen in the photo below. The look may be a bit over the top, but when you're lazing with your lover in Elizabethan England, a warm fire and furs are sure to warm up the nippy air in the drafty castle.

Want to get the look at home? Start with some luxe-looking furs - cruelty free, of course - with the Austin Horn Collection Faux-Fur Throw ($550). If you ever wondered what London's take on the tribal trend would look like, look no further. "Joyous, upbeat, nostalgic" were the words Christopher Bailey used to describe his Spring collection for Burberry Prorsum, and that's exactly what it looked like as models strutted down the runway in an array of brightly colored trench coats, African-inspired printed sheath dresses, and, most notably, a cool array of parka jackets embellished with leather sleeves, whipstitch, and crochet detailing. Pretty pleated knee-length skirts and silk dresses injected a throwback touch while raffia pom hats, colorful woven wedges, and bold statement necklaces furthered Bailey's exotic theme.
