This year, Project Runway is a must-see, not only for the hot fashions, but for the tech. Taking a supporting role in the design process is the HP TouchSmart tm2, which we got a peek at early on in the season, but now we're getting a closer look at what the machine can do. Project Runway Takes It to the NY Streets - Vote on Your Favorite Looks!

Last night's Project Runway was all about New York City. The designers were paired up, then asked to create two looks - one day, one night - inspired by an NYC neighborhood. Chinatown, the Upper East Side, the East Village, and Harlem were the designated spots. Two groups did exceptionally well, including Anthony and Maya (left), but two tanked. Mommy and Me Designs Straight Off Project Runway

The "mommy and me" matching clothing look has a dedicated following in some circles. Pint-sized versions of grown up clothes can make a lil one feel sophisticated while allowing mama to dress her daughter in clothes that truly reflect her style. On last night's Project Runway, the designers were tasked with creating looks for little girls – a challenge that sent some contestants into a tizzy. Throwing a last-minute twist into the episode, Tim Gunn then told the designers to create complementary outfits for the girls' mothers. Take a look at the designs and tell me which you like best. Project Runway Gets Hit With Potato Sacks: Love It or Hate It?

On Project Runway last night, the designers were taken out of the city and onto the farm, where they found their models, standing in mud, wearing potato sacks. The challenge? To make a fashion-forward look out of burlap sacks. Only this time, the models served as clients and got to choose their designers. Once they returned to the city, the genius work began. I was highly impressed by most of the looks. It is not easy to make burlap look expensive, but many succeeded, especially winner Jay Nicolas! Get the Look: Project Runway - the Ladies' Room

As usual, the contestants on season seven of Project Runway are treated to some very stylin' digs when they're not slaving away at the sewing machine. This season, they return to luxury rental building Atlas New York, which has been made quite visually arresting by the show's production designer. Some TV and movie sets - like Carrie Bradshaw's apartment - aren't very easy to recreate because they're furnished with pricey, borrowed, or one-of-a-kind items. But Project Runway's set décor has always been quite accessible, often furnished with Ikea items. Check out this slideshow to see how to get the look of the ladies' bedroom from the set.

Project Runway Season Seven Holds Major Talent

Last night's debut of the new Project Runway left me wanting more, more, more. I admit, I was a little skeptical of the talent level, but all my worries diminished after seeing everyone's designs on the runway. The first challenge was to create an outfit that best represented each individual designer. Everyone stepped up to the plate and delivered a unique perspective on their one-of-a-kind aesthetic. Rate the Project Runway! Stage Looks For Christina Aguilera

Last night's Project Runway - appropriately called "Sequins, Feathers, and Fur. Oh My!" - was one of the most exciting. Even the designers admitted so. The challenge was to create an over-the-top stage look for Christina Aguilera, inspired by legendary designer, the sultan of sequins, Bob Mackie. Many welcomed the challenge and did a great job, while a few let fear get in the way. Nicolas and Althea scored high, but Carol Hannah won thanks to her sophisticated, textured black gown (left). Christian Siriano went where no former Project Runway star has been before - into the maternity wardrobe! His fiercely fresh collection is a welcome change to most expectant clothing racks. As the host of the fabulous hit show, Heidi Klum may have been inspired by the alum's pregnant perspective or perhaps her own belly bump for the show's second competition. Last week the designers had to create a look for one supermodel actress and then mother-to-be, Rebecca Romijn. Sneak Peek! Daniel Vosovic, Spring '10

With the exception of penning a book, 2005 Project Runway alum, Daniel Vosovic, has been majorly MIA. However, he's back on our radar thanks to a divine Spring '10 collection comprised of sporty yet polished frocks and separates. His eight-piece collection is dipped in hues of cobalt, black, white, and deep amethyst, oozing a fresh, modern aesthetic every girl is looking for. I love the simple, color-blocking effect, and his eye for detail is just amazing. Picture this cobalt color-blocked dress at a funky art opening - so chic. I think it's safe to say Daniel Vosovic's back.

Which Project Runway Pregnancy Look Is Most Fab?

Last night's Project Runway was all about maternity wear. Did you tune in? The designers were asked to create an outfit for then-pregnant Rebecca Romijn, who is now the mommy of twin girls. The bulging belly was an obstacle for most of the designers, and it showed in their creations. Shirin's red draped dress and coat (left) ended up winning for being the most wearable, but there were a few other looks worthy of the win - do you agree with the winner and loser?
