Yet again, Katie put her best foot forward in purple peep-toe Loubs and an Alexander McQueen dress, sans belt. I think the actress just solidified the purple-accessory craze in Hollywood!

Miranda Kerr Leaves Tokyo as Orlando Bloom Brightly Hangs in LA

Miranda Kerr carried her bags through Tokyo's Haneda airport today, while back in LA, her husband Orlando Bloom began his morning with a visit to West Hollywood's Detox Market. Orlando, who was decked out in a pair of bright purple Free City sweats, picked up a green drink and chatted outside with a friend on Beverly Boulevard.

Miranda's stay in the Japanese city was short, since she arrived just yesterday in the same Alexander Wang bag and Michael Kors booties. The work trip came after a few weeks close to home, where she celebrated two major milestones with Flynn and Orlando both having January birthdays. Miranda's job takes her all over the globe, and while she's traveling in Asia, her fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima's in a bikini doing a shoot in St. Barts.

Just in time for award season, Bill Gaytten debuted an ultra-feminine collection of ladylike frocks and gowns begging to be worn on the red carpet. With a nod to vintage Dior, Gaytten delivered cinched waists balancing fit and flair shapes and classic ladylike silhouettes with folded open collars, exposing a hint of decolletage ever so tastefully. The structure and glamour of the Old Dior house are there, but not without Gaytten's modern updates - we're treated to fresh sheer pleats, sleeves, and tops, while evening gowns are a study in delicate texture with organza and chiffon layers. We can think of little else but who might walk the Oscars red carpet in one of these gowns.

Trends: Ladylike, sheer.
Colors: White, black, gray, purple, and red.
Key Look: The white sheer frock, nipped at the waist with black floral embroidery.

Evan Rachel Wood struck a chord earlier in the evening with an emerald Old Hollywood-style Gucci Premiere gown, but for the afterparty scene, the Ides of March actress went for menswear-inspired perfection. Evan Rachel wore a black tuxedo jacket paired with slim black pants; underneath, she opted for a shimmery bronzed asymmetrical top. Her gold boxy clutch, gold rings, grayish purple-tinted nails, and black peep-toe pumps rounded out her sleek look. What do you think?

The rainy LA weather didn't stop some of Hollywood's finest from bringing their glamour to the American Music Awards tonight. Jennifer Hudson kicked off the sparkly string of arrivals in a lamé mini, while Selena Gomez, with Justin Bieber by her side, showed skin in a champagne Giorgio Armani gown. Modern Family's Julie Bowen made a bold statement in metallic stripes as she posed ahead of her presenting duties. Heidi Klum, who also took the stage to hand out a trophy, wowed in laser-cut silver Giles Deacon dress, and shared pictures of the fun event on Twitter. Taylor Swift got glittery in Reem Acra for the big night, where she was nominated for three awards.

Vanessa Minnillo accented her white dress and nude Jimmy Choos with a bit of glitzy detail, while Jennifer Morrison kept her style simple in a neutral hue. AMA nominee Katy Perry brought a pop of color to the evening in a unique strapless Vivienne Westwood, which she topped off with pink hair, a headpiece, and blue shoes. Jenny McCarthy chose a ladylike purple look, and Alanis Morrisette went with black chiffon to introduce Mary J. Blige's tribute to the late rapper Heavy D.

George and Stacy Arrive Together For Michelle Williams's Big Hollywood Night

George Clooney had lady friend Stacy Keibler on his arm last night to attend the 15th annual Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The couple are fresh off a stint in Europe, where Stacy joined George for the Paris premiere of The Ides of March and a London screening of The Descendants. She represented her favorite football team with her purple Maria Lucia Hohan gown. Stacy tweeted, "Wearing my Ravens purple to the Hollywood Film Awards. . . Will have to keep checking the score on my phone." This was another big evening for George, who accepted the Hollywood Actor Award from his Descendants costar Beau Bridges.

Many more of George's fellow actors were honored, including Michelle Williams, who looked gorgeous in a black strapless Nina Ricci number. Michelle Williams accepted the Hollywood Actress Award once the show began, and later met up with her best friend Busy Philipps. However, Michelle was solo on the red carpet, and we caught a minute with her. She flew to California from the Michigan set of Oz: The Great and Powerful, and her daughter Matilda has been there to see the filming. Michelle said of the kid-friendly picture, "This one's for Matilda." Michelle shared room on the press line with other lovely ladies like a Pucci-clad Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emma Stone in Jonathan Saunders, and Carey Mulligan in Bottega Veneta.
