Always at the forefront of all things fresh, Quiksilver has teamed up with The Standard hotels to make co-branded men’s and women’s swimsuits to be distributed via vending machines poolside at the hotel's four properties and online at ShoptheStandard.com.
Joshua Katz, director of marketing and communications at Quiksilver Inc., explains, “This is a 24-hour customer, and a lot of times they might not have a swimsuit but want to take a late-night swim, after the hotel’s boutique is closed.”
For added flavor, each design has a "Quik City Guide" on the inside waistband, with addresses of local places of interest. The vending machines will also dispense zines and $10 works of art from local artists.

Ever since Quiksilver turned fashionista, it's been one of my go-to brands for surf-meets-street clothes. For Fall, Quiksilver has come out with a collection characterized by relaxed plaid dresses, loose-fitting jeans, off-shoulder tops, and cool vests. I'm particularly drawn to this plaid dress (left) because there are a million ways to spice it up.

Just because a look is casual that doesn't mean it isn't party apropos. Sophia Bush graced the red carpet for the OP campaign launch party in a getup fit for an urban safari. And let's take a moment to admire her fit stems — nice.

Crêpe de Chine
Literally means "crepe of China" in French. A soft, lightweight, plainwoven fabric with a crinkled effect. It's produced either with all-silk warp and weft or with a silk warp and hard-spun worsted weft.

Whether you're a part of the surf culture, or just like to admire the boys, there is no look cooler than the beachy, fun-loving surfer girl. She can both ride epic waves and look hot while doing it. Clothes that look fresh and serve a function are key.

We all know I'm a junkie for beach brands, so dig in to some junk food! Quiksilver's Spring women's collection is now available for the taking. With a mix of cool nautical, funky pastels, and sundresses, the best part is prices don't go beyond $100.

There's only so many hooded sweatshirts one can see without becoming bored. This Quiksilver Aurelie Sweatshirt ($24, originally $78), on the other hand, is the antithesis of dull. It's a hoodie with a girlie twist achieved by the scoop drawstring bodice.

Does he attack when you change the channel while he's watching Monday Night Football? Does he talk about baseball as often as he talks about his girlfriend? Is his biggest thrill epic waves?

Not only has Quiksilver created some cute eco-friendly clothes, they benefit an environmental initiative. The brand has teamed up with E.P.I.C., Everyday People Initiating Change, to support the nonprofit's Ripple Project. The Ripple Project helps eliminate the problematic lack of access to clean water in impoverished nations.
