At this point, the Golden Globes probably won't go as smoothly as previous years. Many actors won't be crossing the picket lines on Sunday to get to the show, but just because there won't be any strutting on the red carpet that doesn't mean we're not ready for our close up. Learn The Art of Posing and create your own red carpet this year with fun tips and lessons.

To find out how to pose like a pro,

Lesson One, Cuddling a Pet: Stop walking and get in position. Bend and lift pet with a slight squat. Stand, cuddle, and pose!
Lesson Three, Celebrity Friend: Walk up separate and pose alone. Meet up with your friend. Link up and laugh out loud.
Lesson Five, Head to Shoulder: In position. Slightly turn head. Lower chin and give a sexy look!
Lesson Seven, Leg Cross: Stand in position. Slightly raise hands and lift leg. Gracefully turn your front ankle and pose.
Lesson Eight, Over Shoulder: Stand in position. Turn around, put hands on hips. Slowly turn your head back and pose.

Adele Strikes a Pose For Vogue's March Issue

Last night, Adele raked in six amazing Grammy awards including the win for best album of the year for 21. With millions of fans behind her back, the golden girl, recently recovered from throat surgery, shows no signs of slowing down. Vogue just added more fuel to the fire with the unveiling of Adele as its March cover girl, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. With perfect wing-tipped eyes and sexy, voluminous waves, Adele emoted superstar status wearing a gorgeous citron and black lace dress from Oscar de la Renta, leather opera-length gloves, and strapped sandals. On Beyoncé: "She's been a huge and constant part of my life as an artist since I was about ten or eleven. I love how all of her songs are about empowerment. Even when she's married and Jay-Z put a ring on it, she releases 'Single Ladies.' Go get yours. Go get what you deserve. I think she's really inspiring. She's beautiful. She's ridiculously talented, and she is one of the kindest people I've ever met."

On making red-carpet appearances:: "I hate the red carpet. I don't feel insecure, I just feel like, Oh, I don't want to do this. I literally get a stomach cramp."

On her personality: "I am quite loud and bolshie. I'm a big personality. I walk into a room, big and tall and loud."

We spoke to her trainer Gunnar Peterson (whose clients have also included Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Angelina Jolie), to learn more about how Sofia gets award-season ready. Make it fun: How does Gunnar keep his celebrity clients sticking to their routine? "I try to keep it fun. I try and put a little bit of levity in it, but at the same time, I don’t sacrifice the work. We may goof around and stuff, but we’re definitely going to goof around while we’re working." A boring workout is one you won't want to stick to, so read our tips on how to keep a workout fun.

Whole-body workout: Gunnar doesn't like to waste time with isolated moves. Burn more calories and work more of your body at the same time instead. "I don’t do that many isolation movements, like single joint stuff," Gunnar says. "I do bigger movements. If we’re going to do a lunge, we’re probably going to add an upper body component to it, like a lunge with a wood chop, a side lunge with a wood chop, or a rear lunge with a lateral raise, or a forward lunge with a front raise."
