Here's an unlikely story: something sparkly, blue, and Miu Miu, and I'm about to pooh-pooh. I came across this Miu Miu Jeweled Buckle Belt ($302) and thought it was just so . . . Claire's Boutique. I think it's the pastel blue hue that makes it borderline tacky. Is that way harsh, Tai?

I'm addicted to sparkle. No sparkle gets past me. On the New York runways I witnessed various strategic sparkles. Sequins, beading, pailletes, and rhinestones provided a mini punch strategically placed on shoulders, lapels, waists, and sleeves. This is the ideal way to tackle sparkle without feeling overkill. Shoulders were the most popular; notice the cool contrast of this black sparkly cluster atop Akiko Ogawa's femme pink sweater.

Since I can remember I have been drawn to riddle me rhinestones. I think that was an early sign I was going to always succumb to beautiful things and therefore work in fashion! The real beauty of rhinestones is that they are inexpensive, well, depending on what you get. Burberry Ashcombe Clutch: Love It or Hate It?

What girl can resist a smattering of big jewels? Not too many I know. This Burberry Ashcombe Clutch, $620, is making me have second thoughts, though, which is quite the accomplishment. There's no rhyme or reason to the way the jewels are placed, and there's a little too much silver for my taste, between the gems, the hardware, and the top of the clutch. What about you, are you a fan?

This is some heavy-duty costume jewelry. Literally: between the heavy chain and progressively larger sapphire and purple crystals, this Gerard Yosca Crystal Link Necklace, $265, could way a girl down, if not paired with a simple, streamlined ensemble. I do like the jewel tone colors of the crystals, though, and if rocked right, this necklace could be quite stunning. What do you think?
