For Givenchy's Fall 2012 collection, Riccardo Tisci showed a strong lineup of equestrian-inspired looks comprised of structural leather dresses, luxurious over-the-knee riding boots, and sexy lace. Precision-cut jackets were paired with jodhpur trousers, and full pleated skirts were styled with cropped caplet jackets, driving home the riding theme. Tisci's signature hard-edge style was present in every look; dresses ranged from architectural leather renditions to embellished boudoir-like slip dresses showing sexy slits and sheer detailing. For added texture, Tisci showcased sumptuous two-tone short-sleeve jackets and tricolor vests. There were also a bevy of leather pants dipped in bright red hues and our favorite: a standout pair of black quilted trousers. More highlights from the collection below.

Riccardo Tisci's Spring '12 collection for Givenchy drew upon oceanic influences in a modern, unexpected way showing eel skin, sequins, shark tooth necklaces, and clothing cut to look as if they'd grown a fin. There were no prints like there were for Fall; rather, the focus was on texture and cut, delivered on top supermodels like Gisele, Natalia Vodianova, and Karolina Kurkova. Sharp, sexy suiting played a big role in the collection for Tisci showing a varied mix with scuba-like pants paired with sleeveless blazers, peplum jackets, and dramatic statement blouses made to look like gorgeous underwater fins. Exotic skins such as eel, shark, or stingray further played into the underwater theme. For eveningwear, Tisci created dazzle with head-to-toe metallic sequined suit sets and dresses fit for any jet-setting, party-hopping queen. Read more details from the collection below.

2011 Fall Paris Fashion Week: Givenchy

Riccardo Tisci showed a fearless Fall '11 collection today for Givenchy filled with growling panthers - both on-stage, via a menacing music soundtrack, and on the clothes - purple orchids, feline ear-tipped bowler hats, cat-eye glasses, and vampy satin pumps complete with thin bangle-like staps. The perfect juxtaposition between hard and soft, was also portrayed in Tisci's silhouettes. Lady-like pencil skirts were paired with Tisci's take on casualwear via satin sweatshirts, decorated with panthers and orchids, and cropped bomber jackets. Sheer elements also played a big role in Tisci's story, which were layered with structured ruffle miniskirts and even cut into a sleek button-up blouse adorned with black vinyl trim. Strong and menacing - just the way we like it.

Trends: Chic casual wear, sheer, pencil skirts.
Colors: Black, purple, green, yellow.
Key Looks: Satin sweatshirts paired with pencil skirts, layered leather and sheer skirt.

For Fall '10, Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci decided to stir the pot by featuring a transgender model in his ad campaign. Joining the top model ranks with Mariacarla Boscono, Joan Smalls, Ming Xi, Catherine McNeil, and Malgosia Bela - we love her pink hair - is Riccardo's personal assistant, Lea T. (previously known as Leo, here in the red lips). "She’s always been very feminine: superfragile, very aristocratic," said Tisci, who also noted Lea T. will be starting a new career in veterinary medicine in Milan. What are your thoughts on this feminine-masculine dichotomy?

Fab Ad: Givenchy, Spring '10

I always look forward to Riccardo Tisci's ads for Givenchy and this one doesn't disappoint. Yet again it's a seriously sexy lineup, this time with a new addition: 2009 model of the year Natalia Vodianova! Givenchy mainstay Mariacarla Boscono is back, as are a gaggle of hot men. Whereas Riccardo usually sticks to solids, there are lots more prints in the Spring line, making these ads more visually exciting. What do you think of it?
