Paris Fashion Week is the creme de la creme of all fashion events. New York had its highlights; London wowed me with its revived schedule; and Milan is always beautiful, but Paris? Undeniably thrilling. Here's a roundup of my favorite looks, ranging from the spooky, kooky looks of Gareth Pugh to breathtaking frocks from Yves Saint Laurent. Fab Flash: Victoria Beckham to Collaborate with Roland Mouret

Roland Mouret and Victoria Beckham have more in common than meets the eye.

They're both managed by American Idol creator Simon Fuller - her for the Spice Girls, him for his fashion line RM by Roland Mouret. Posh is often spotted wearing Roland's designs - some even call her the unofficial face of the brand. Now they've got more common ground than ever before: Rumor has it that Roland and Posh have teamed up to do a capsule collection together.

The Little Black Dress collection is said to be a line of ten dresses, likely very tailored, that will hopefully be on sale worldwide soon!

On Our Radar: RM by Roland Mouret Coming To Net-a-Porter

His Galaxy dress would definitely be in the Fashion Hall of Fame (if one existed, that is), but Roland Mouret isn't ready to leave it at that. He is presenting his new line, RM, next week during couture week in Paris, and on the same day, July 5th, Net-a-Porter is showing a video of the show, as well as offering up all the pieces from the 21-look collection for sale - whether it is a $700 top, a $3000 coat, or a pair of $925 Louboutins.

The clothes won't ship until November, but that's pretty darn close to instant gratification, if I've ever heard of it. Amazing what you can do on the internet these days, eh?

Fab Flash: Net-a-Porter Delivering Halston Day After Comeback Show

The day after relaunched label Halston shows on Feb. 4, during New York Fashion Week, Net-a-Porter will begin selling two looks straight off the runway, a daytime shirt dress ($1,495) and an evening silk dress ($1,795).

This retailing coup follows the collaboration Net-a-Porter had with RM by Roland Mouret last year, which allowed customers to immediately order looks from the runway that would then be shipped at a later date. The Halston partnership takes the idea a step further, allowing interested customers to literally pick a dress off the runway and be able to wear it the next day.

It will be interesting to see how this affects fast fashion chains, who thrive on the delay between runway shows and the time that customers can get their hands on the clothes . . .

On Our Radar: The Virtual Trunk Show

If you've never been able to attend a trunk show in person, don't fret, one may yet be on your horizon! Big-name retailers are starting to experiment with holding trunk shows online. In fact, NeimanMarcus.com just wrapped up a two week long virtual Dior trunk show, Saks.com held a Ralph Lauren trunk show in June, and Net-a-Porter offered up RM by Roland Mouret online last month.

Although these online shows typically have less selection than their in-store counterparts, since they only offer items the retailer will stock rather than the designer's entire collection, they are also more inclusive: you only need to be on the mailing list to be invited! So get yourself on those mailing lists and you're set: who knows what label you'll get to preview and pre-order next!
