Malin Akerman alluded to utmost ladylike style at the All Inclusive premiere in Germany today. I love how her slim, high-waisted pencil skirt provided maximum elongation - what a cool styling trick! To add a dose of color and brightness, the actress donned a purple geometric print top and blue suede platform pumps by Sergio Rossi. A little bit of polish, a lot of pizazz.

Fab Flash: Victoria Beckham Takes Legal Action Against Rock & Republic

Victoria Beckham is serious about her denim. So serious she's taking it to court. The British powerhouse, who has been battling rumors that her dVb denim line is under performing in the US, is expanding the drama by suing Rock & Republic, who originally manufactured her namesake denim line. She is suing them for approximately $100 million dollars. The payout is said to be compensation for lost earnings - VB believes the jeans made more money than was said. Let the battle begin.

Fab Finding Follow Up: The Graduate

This Fab Finding takes me back to when I was a budding grad from The Fashion Institute in NYC. Who knew I would end up a fashion blogger?! The lesson to be learned: everyone has a path, there are ups and downs, but keep your chin up and have fun along the way! Rock & Republic Plain Wrap Stiletto: Love It or Hate It?

Rock & Republic has just released a new line for Fall, Plain Wrap, which has a lower price point - $35 to $198 - than its main collection. Each item (hoodies, jeans, leggings) is emblazoned with its name in capital letters. Case in point: this Plain Wrap Stiletto. "This is a new initiative with a new perspective for the consumer that wants fashionable basics with staying power,” said Michael Ball, founder and creative director of the company. Do you agree? Does this concept have staying power or is it lame?

Fab Ad: Rock & Republic Fall '08

Rock & Republic stuck to what it knew best for its Fall Campaign - rock. That said Malgosia Bela and Vladimir Roitfeld look pretty bored for portraying rock stars. The photo shoot, shot by Mark Segal and directed by Julia Roitfeld, depicts the two in their R&R gear amongst a slew of amplifiers and wires. The set looks stark and overly clean; musicians don't live like that!

Julia should of added a little dirt and grime to make the scene more realistic. On the plus side, the clothes are great and Malgosia looks rocker ready in her boots and fur. What do you think?

NY Fashion Week: Rock & Republic

If Burberry or Louis Vuitton gave birth to a rebellious daughter, the result would be something like the Spring 2007 line from Rock & Republic, unveiled Saturday evening at New York Fashion Week. In true rock-tinged form, the Los Angeles label-known for its edgy, high-end denim-was the last show of the night and featured plenty of leather, glitzy-gold hardware, dark eyeliner, and oversize sunglasses. Taking a page from old-school luxury labels like LV, the line also showed off a number of sassy spring trenches and even mini dresses and belt buckles emblazoned with the R&R logo.

On Our Radar: Rock & Republic's New Sunglass Collection

eLuxury has just brought in Rock & Republic's new sunglass collection. Summer is almost here, so if you're looking for new shades to block out the sun and to make you look ultra cool, look no further.

My favorite are these Hornet Sunglasses, $300. I dig the amber horn color and round oversized lenses.
