A pair of perfect navy blue sailor pants miraculously made their way into my life recently and have inspired me to bring out my inner sailor-ette, full force. The nautical trend has long been a part of fashion history - hello, Jean Paul Gaultier - but these perfect pants make me want to come sail away, and Shopbop's nautical selection is allowing me to do just that. Won't you join me on my proverbial ship by incorporating anchors, stripes (a la 3.1 Phillip Lim's resort line, left), and brass buttons into your closet? Is that an "aye aye Fab" I hear?!

Our favorite reality stars, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad from The Hills dressed up for Halloween! Audrina makes a rad Madonna circa the '80s. I love the pearls; now this is the right time to sport leggings. LC went for a sexy sailor look, hat and all. I like how she paired her costume with white over-the-knee tights. Both look cute but only one can go home with the Fab Halloween crown. Whose costume do you love more?

Kate Middleton Wears Green Mulberry to Attend a Reception With Prince William

Kate Middleton and Prince William made the rounds at a private reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II in London today. The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles, and members of the media also attended the event, which announced plans for the celebration of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Kate made her latest fashion statement in a green silk Mulberry number, despite having been beaten by Alexa Chung for the British Style Award at this evening's British Fashion Awards. Kate's wedding gown designer, Sarah Burton, did get recognized, though, with the Designer of the Year honor.

Prince William made an appearance after a particularly difficult weekend at work. William rescued shipwrecked sailors in the Irish Sea yesterday. He was the copilot of a helicopter that responded to the call, and William and his four-person team were able to save two lives. Meanwhile, William's brother, Harry, is focusing on his own military career. Prince Harry is back in the UK after spending two months in the US for helicopter training, including a stint in LA over the weekend.
