Take your pick from the unbelievable underwear (left), which sucks in bulges; the sensational shaper, which minimizes your waistline; and the fabulous footless, which makes you look slimmer in the thigh area. As far as I'm concerned, any product that makes me look more streamlined is A-OK!

Time magazine celebrated its 100 Most Influential People last night with a huge bash held inside Jazz at Lincoln Center. Honorees like Kristen Wiig, Chelsea Handler, Claire Danes, Hillary Clinton, Tilda Swinton, and Rihanna all turned out for the mingling and partying. Stephen Colbert, who also made the list, gave opening remarks. He gave shout-outs to Kristen and Spanx creator Sara Blakely. Stephen joked, "Kristen, congratulations on the Time 100. Lovely to see you. Her movie, Bridesmaids, huge success, and proved once and for all to the Hollywood boys club that women can have explosive diarrhea, too - you are a feminist icon. Brava, madam. But perhaps the most influential person on the list is here, Sara Blakely, the inventor of the Spanx . . . No one, no one has done more to control women's bodies, except maybe [Catholic] Cardinal Dolan."

It seems the jokes and good times continued for the honorees, who happily posed for photos together. A Stella McCartney-clad Kristen Wiig made the rounds talking to her funny friends like Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Louis CK, and Aubrey Plaza. Rihanna hit the red carpet in a pink Marchesa gown before changing to perform on stage, while Claire Danes donned Lanvin to hang out backstage. Secretary of State Clinton may have been the most popular, though, as she shook hands and said hello to NY Knicks player Jeremy Lin, Amy, Chelsea, Harvey Weinstein, Barbara Walters, Matt Lauer, Tyra Banks, and more!

Spanx is a word that most women are familiar with. It's a type of shapewear that helps to smooth away lumps and bumps and also leaves no trace of a panty line. The creator of this product, Sara Blakely, has been inducted to this year's Forbes billionaires list, which was released yesterday. Spanx, an international undergarment company, is worth an estimated $1 billion. Here are a couple of interesting facts about her from a Forbes feature:

She learned how to write her own patent from reading a Barnes and Noble book and she saved $3,000 in legal costs.
She worked at Disney World for three months and spent eight-hour days buckling customers into a ride.
She's the youngest self-made female billionaire in the world.
She has never spent money on advertising.
She owns 100 percent of the company.
She went from just having $5,000 in savings when she was 29 to owning a billion-dollar company at the age of 41 today.
She has her eccentric moments, and her husband describes her as "50 percent Lucille Ball, 50 percent Einstein." Some of her goofiest moments include wearing a boot on one foot and a Christian Louboutin heel on the other in Bloomingdale's, and wearing stretchable candy necklaces and bracelets (bought from a nearby candy store) to the Screen Actors Guild Awards because she left her jewelry at the hotel.
She witnessed a car run over her best friend when she was only 16, and facing mortality at such a young age has driven her. "I think that when you witness death at age 16, there's a sense of urgency about life," Blakely says. "The thought of my mortality - I think about it a lot. I find it motivating. Ryan Reynolds looked dapper this morning as he exited BBC Radio One in London. The actor is abroad doing press for Green Lantern following a few days in LA, where he hit up the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday and teamed up with costar Blake Lively for the press junket. Blake revealed that she used cupcakes to fatten up Ryan during one of their interviews, though he looked like his usual svelte self while out today after a chat with BBC host Sara Cox. Ryan joked about Green Lantern, being Canadian, and whether he prefers starlets like Blake or grown women like Sandra Bullock, who's in England as well to shoot Gravity. He said, "You can't compare those two. They're vastly different people. But Sandy's been a friend of mine for over 10 years now."
