Ever since Nordstrom debuted its buy online, pick up in store program, I've been perusing their goods more frequently. One of the beauties I ran into during my hunt was this Botkier Morgan Small Fringed Satchel ($650). I can't buy online and pick up in store because it's currently on pre-sale, but it was special enough to make me stop in my clicks. I have long appreciated fringe but sometimes the trend can get out of hand. This bag shows us that fringe in small doses goes a long way. On your mark, get set, pre-order!

The satchel is your handbag best friend. It's medium sized, ladylike and simple - I'm sure everyone has a favorite satchel sitting in her closet needing a dust off! I've been eyeing this Black Banana Republic Fillmore Deep Satchel, $248, for quite some time now, ever since I spotted it in-store. I love the shiny black patent patina, and the leather is super soft and supple to the touch! The snakeskin-like finish gives it a bit of edge that just plain patent leather wouldn't have. The chain is removable, but the bag is beautiful without any bells and whistles attached. Definitely a keeper.

Miu Miu has a slew of new handbags for Fall and this Miu Miu Pleated Leather Satchel, $1,590, is one of them. I am undecided about whether or not I dig the pleats-on-a-purse look. It can look very stiff, unlike pleats on clothing. And those sharp corners are a tad severe. Without them, the bag would be much prettier. What are your thoughts?

I really adore the floral trend because it's so light hearted. But, for some reason this Big Buddha "Garden" Satchel, $280, is not sitting well with me. I feel like it's a bad imitation of Gucci's floral-print Peggy Top Handle Bag, $1,450. It looks like a big bouquet of all sorts of flowers, and I wouldn't want to be carrying a floral arrangement with me everywhere. I don't mind the shape so much; I think it's just the array of colors. What do you all think?
