Love From Australia Suede Over-the-Knee Boot: Love It or Hate It?

UGG boots are bulky enough with all that thick shearling, but when you add ribbons and more height, it's just too much. I can't see myself, or anyone else for that matter, pulling off Love From Australia's Vixen Suede Over-the-Knee Boot ($400). In Antarctica they might come in handy, but I'd choose cold over tacky any day. Are you with me?

I admit, I was never a fan of FitFlops, but now that the brand has enlisted Anna Sui to design a line of cozy boots, I might reconsider. FitFlop - known for designing footwear that's biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them - has collaborated with the bohemian designer to create these Shakoha Shearling Boots ($290). The line will be exclusively available at Net-A-Porter.com on Nov.11 and ShopIntuition.com starting Nov. 20. Are you loving them?

Shearling isn't just for sherpas anymore. This fluffy white trim can be made from sheared sheep's wool or synthetic materials, depending on the piece. Trend Alert: Fur Vests

It seems every winter fur vests surface. This luxurious piece creates Aspen chic when thrown over a skinny turtleneck and a great pair of slouchy boots. I have found some updated versions; some faux, some luxe, and one super cute (and cheap!) shearling number. These toasty delights glamour up everything from jeans to an evening dress. Cool Sneaker Brand: 80%20

Sneaker collecting is a very male-dominated hobby, but shoe designer Ce Ce Chin wants to change all that with her 80%20 brand. Unlike the usual Nike Dunks and limited-edition Pumas, Chin's artful designs-sold at Urban Outfitters, Alloy, and other stores-are delightfully girly, adorned with images of birds and unicorns and decorated with bows and shearling trim. Marc Jacobs Patent Rain Boot: Love It or Hate It?

If you live in a city with a rainy season-and most cities do have a rainy season-you're bound to don a pair of rain boots from time to time. But just because you're wearing galoshes doesn't mean you can't still be fashionable. Consider these Marc Jacobs Collection Patent Rain Boots, available for $900 here, which bring high-fashion to the lowly wellie. Made from patent-finish vinyl with shearling lining, these boots even boast an embossed Marc Jacobs nameplate on the top. Plus, the 3.5-inch heel and upturned toe will make you look less dowdy. The only problem? To me, this boot looks cozy but, unfortunately, hideous. Do you disagree? Tell me below if you love it or hate it.
