Upcycled Stiletto Heel Succulent Planter

Stage performance is a tough gig, so this old stripper stiletto decided to leave the biz for greener pastures. Upcycled from a shiny size eight gold heel, the Glam Gold Stiletto Heel ($70) was sanded, drilled for drainage, and then planted with natural, organic fertilizer and a "blue chalksticks" succulent. Would you let this clever planter shine in your home?   Love It or Hate It? Read more

Do You Decorate With Fashion Accessories?

In addition to plenty of other treasures, French model and designer Ines de la Fressange used a handbag and a single boot as decorative accessories to dress up a chest of drawers in her office in Paris. Seeing as the items are works of art in their own right, and her other furnishings are downright glamorous as well, I think she's pulled it off. But just any old shoe wouldn't do. Moschino Jeweled Pump: Love It or Hate It?

Lolipop89 alerted us to these Moschino Cheap & Chic Jeweled Pumps, on sale for $130 (originally $515) in the Love It or Hate It? group. Upon first glance, I kind of like them, especially the jeweled detailing. I am not so attracted to the bow as it looks a bit too stiff and forced. In other words, I am not in love, but I'm not hating either. What do you think? To post your selections go to Read more

Get in Gear: Nike Water Cat

Ok, they have all-terrain vehicles for the road. What about all-terrain vehicles for your feet? Nike will be introducing (not quite yet) a radical new shoe design made for land and water. Well not quite radical, KEEN has been making shoes like this for years (and they are a much more environmentally conscious company than Nike - but enough of the rant). They're lightweight, and the sole is Read more

Get in Gear: RunAway

This weatherproof holder will keep your sensor safe and sound, and attaches to any shoe that has laces. But what do you do with the receiver after your run? It's so tiny - I'm afraid I'll lose it. Another great feature is that you can slide the receiver into the RunAway for easy Read more

Safety First

Whether you are a runner, walker, biker, climber, hiker, or just a person who doesn't sit on their butt all day, you've got to get a Road ID. It's just good to be prepared in case of an accident. If you don't believe me, check out this testimonial. This guy was biking and got hit by a car. He couldn't speak, but his ankle ID had all of his info.
