That's what happened when I saw this military-style jacket - the first thing that popped into my head was, I can totally see it on Beyonce. It reminded me of her Alexander McQueen velvet band vest. Celeb Style: Angelina Jolie

Angelina got in major sexy mode last night at the Inglourious Basterds premiere in LA. Despite the fact that she stuck to her signature color, black, she knocked it out of the ballpark with her strapless leather Michael Kors dress. If you recall, Angelina's stylist Jen Rade once told me she puts the actress in black because it allows her strong features to shine. The strappy black Christian Dior sandals and red cocktail ring keep her chic, not biker-chick. But of course, her best accessory is Brad in an all-black (Tom Ford?) suit. Damn.

Designer Spotlight: eryn brinié

Last time I was in New York, I stopped at the eryn brinié boutique in Soho; it was very cool and Euro-esque. The brand, which caters to gals who are sensible and artistic, is inspired by French chic and an urban spirit. The collections are always on trend but never lose practicality. For Spring, eryn brinié's signature femininity gets roughed up a bit. The season's boyfriend style is reinterpreted and fused with fluidity and airiness. You'll witness mod cuts, antique fabrics, boxy shapes, girlie ruffles, in romantic pastels and rich earth tones. All in all, a beautifully minimalistic line if I ever saw one.

Which Olsen at The Hangover Premiere Is More Fab?

Seeing as Ashley Olsen's boyfriend Justin Bartha stars in The Hangover, it's no surprise that his girl and her twin were there to support him at the LA premiere. By now it's super clear that Ashley and Mary-Kate's styles are polar opposites, even though their faces are so similar. Ashley, ever the minimalist, walked the red carpet in a long black Calvin Klein dress and chunky sandals, while the accessory-loving Mary-Kate wore a printed TopShop minidress, black blazer, Prada slingbacks, and her signature round sunglasses. I'm usually on Team Ashley but this one is a toughie. Who do you think looks more Fab?

Target knows it's possible to find hot handbags under $100. The megastore has just tapped Carlos Falchi for its next handbag designer collaboration. If you know Carlos, you're familiar with his signature faux and real snakeskin handbags retailing upwards of $400. Come Oct. 11, we can nab the same decadence at Target for a lot less - yay! Falchi's budget-friendly collection will consist of 13 faux snakeskin bags in juicy jewel tones, such as plum and teal, along with a couple of collage and patchwork styles.

Victoria Beckham dresses up no matter where she goes and that includes airports. She arrived in Milan looking posh in a LBD from her Fall namesake collection, Christian Louboutin suede boots, and her signature Hermes Birkin. We've seen Victoria in all-black before, but what makes her unique this time is the combination of the black sequined headband and studded belt. A bit rock 'n roll, a bit dainty equals a whole lot of sass.

Nancy Gonzalez Loves a Challenge

Not too long ago, Saks invited me to meet handbag designer Nancy Gonzalez. For those not familiar, Nancy has been delivering decadent - read: exotic - handbags since 1998. Think of a Nancy Gonzalez bag as a classic - up there with Chanel and Bottega Veneta - only spicier. That is because Nancy hails from Colombia and splits her time between New York and her native country. She was very warm and vivacious. But when it came her to her bags, she was serious.

Others serious about Nancy's bags include Mary-Kate Olsen, who has recently been carrying her clutches, and a couple appeared in the Sex and the City movie. They're everywhere really; you just have to keep an eye out, as there's no mistaking her bright croc signature. Here's what goes on in the designer's brain.

What made you decide to work with animal skins for your bags?

"I have always worked with precious skins. The collaboration with nature has always fascinated me."

How do you get your colored bags so bright?

"My colors are inspired by the exuberant landscape of my native Colombia. All our skins our naturally dyed and then buffed, which brings out this particular radiant, colorful luster that my bags have."

"I am always attached to those bags which are hardest to do. Such as the woven crocodile ones. In particular, one woven in the shape of leaves."

Your bags are pretty pricey. Are you going to be doing anything in a lower price point in reaction to the current economic crisis?

"One's own state of mind will inform the time and style in which one lives. My job as a designer is to interpret the times with imagination, artistry, and daring. I want to provide a chic, effortless, modern, approachable, and beautiful product at the right price."

Describe the women who wear your bags.

"Every woman that wants a universal, unique, true, exciting, sincere, and joyful experience."

Fab Flash: Serena Williams Shows Off Her Design Skills At HSN

On April 30, Serena Williams will be taking her style from the tennis courts to the HSN with the debut of her accessories and clothing collection, called Signature Statement. "I always want to make a statement, both on and off the court," said Williams. "One of my dreams has always been to share gorgeous gifts of fashion and luxury with the world. Off the court, my passion is fashion. Signature Statement is my own line of accessories and fashion, complete from jewelry to dresses."

The collection, retailing between $30 to $100, will include a trendy collection of jewels, handbags, and knitwear. Williams personally describes the accessories as "feminine, classic, statement pieces." Tell me: Are you interested in seeing Serena's skills off the court?
