Mastering the art of effortless layers, girl-meets-boy appeal, and the style quirks of traditional Fall clothing turned on its head, Madewell offers up the season's essentials in bold hues, clever prints (like a leopard-print grandpa cardigan), and staple denim. For its Fall '12 lineup, H&M marries the art of minimalism with high-impact detail. It's another covetable collection from the retailer, this time finishing streamlined silhouettes with bursts of color, statement print, and decadent accessories - and there's something for everyone in this batch of goodies. From the slickest kind of pencil skirt, finished with leather and adorned with peplum, to a perfect wooly cocoon coat, this crew of separates is as fit for the cool-girl as they are the sophisticate, with a palette of rich autumnal burgundy, gray, and flashes of metallics that speak decidedly to the season. Cool-Girl Gone Baroque: Asos Channels Opulence With Statement Prints and Texture For Fall '12

If Marie Antoinette lived today, we suspect Asos's Fall '12 collection would be her go-to wardrobe source. With an eye for trends that's made Asos a go-to shopping destination, the brand zeroed in on some of Fall's key pieces, albeit with a decidedly decadent slant. Rich and colorful textures were utilized on pieces ranging from outerwear to party skirts, and there were also the cooler fare via playful patents and slick leather skirts, dresses, pants, and shirts. Sequins and sparkle also had their moment as the collection veered toward a girlier, more playful side in floral-sequined trousers and a pair of gold hot pants. The details also reflected fun Baroque-era references in velvet heels and a glitzy pair of drop earrings, then in tougher pieces with lug-sole boots and a camouflaged knapsack. Wallflowers, be warned: this collection was made to make a statement - even the classic button-down is finished in patent. Straight off the heels of featuring its collection with Lauren Conrad, Kohl's is debuting Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez's lifestyle line featuring menswear, womenswear, and items for the home. The collection offers a play on J Lo's glamorous aesthetic with faux fur, sequined tops, a strapless jumpsuit, and a bevy of platform pumps. While we might not opt to grab everything from the collection, there are certainly pieces to add to your night-out looks, and a few items for the home - like supersoft sheets and towels. Missoni Brings Zigzags, Color, and Patterns to Kids Collection For Target

Missoni's invasion of the nursery is about to shift into high gear! Following a collaboration with Bugaboo on Cameleon and Bee-clad strollers and the introduction of the design house's Spring and Summer 2012 styles for baby, the highly anticipated Missoni for Target collection is about to hit the discount retailer, and it is packed with more than 25 designs for girls and tots.

Part of the 400-piece collection, lil girls and their mamas will find sweaters, skirts, shoes, scarves, and hats - many of them mini versions of mama's pieces - among the bright and colorful pieces. Set to hit stores, and online, on Sept. 13 - just in time for back-to-school shopping - prices will range from $8 for a pair of knee-high socks to $40 for sweater dresses and hoodies.
