Double Take: Celebrity Clones, Part Deux

Being the celebrity clone-finder that I am, I have a fresh bunch of celebrity clones for you. First up, model Lisa Cant and actress Alexis Bledel. The similarity in their big, round baby blue eyes is undeniable, as is their rounded facial structure and fair skin. What's more, they're both delicate and doll-like. They can easily pass as sisters. If that were the case, Alexis would be the older one at 26, and Lisa would be the younger at 23. That's crazy because Alexis' baby face could have fooled me to think she's in her teens.

If Kate Moss wants to know what she'll look like in 20 years, all she has to do is look at Cashmere Mafia actress Christine Ebersole. The toothy smile, the blond hair, the fair, freckly skin, those small green eyes . . . they're eerily similar. Katharine McPhee's pout and eyes look a lot like those of Russian model Regina Feoktistova; new Guess model Line Gost is being called the young Sophia Loren and it's easy to see why; and Kate Bosworth can easily double as model Caroline Winberg. On Our Radar: Aquascutum Vintage

This month, traditional British brand Aquascutum is launching a limited edition collection of coats and trenches inspired by designs from the 30s through the 50s.

The Aquascutum Vintage collection will include pieces worn by past Aquascutum fans and icons like Marlene Dietrich, Bette Davis, Audrey Hepburn, and Sophia Loren, and will be sold in the U.S. exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman. The luscious coats, which run from approximately $2000-$5600, will be made of fabrics like napa leather, duchesse satin, and double cashmere - serious luxury!

Behind the Seams: Victoria's Secret What Is Sexy? List Bash

Want to know what Victoria's Secret thinks is sexy? You got it. The company has released its What Is Sexy? 2009 List. It includes categories like sexiest style past and present, and sexiest legs past and present. To celebrate the list, the lingerie giant threw a huge party at the Bowery Hotel in NYC. Of course, VS hotties Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes (left) were in attendance, as were other gorgeous models and actresses. You better believe there was enough sexiness to last a lifetime.

Exclusive Fab Interview with Angelina Jolie's Stylist Jennifer Rade

Longtime stylist Jennifer Rade calls herself the Wicked Witch of Wardrobe, and I'll add to that the busiest stylist working today. I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer a few years back at a Gap Bra Bar event for which she was the spokesperson. I recall the sassy stylist referring to Angelina Jolie, whom she works with closely, simply as Angie. In addition, she's styled music videos (Avril Lavigne, Marilyn Manson, Pink) and commercials, the most recent one being the Jovovich-Hawk for Target one. Jen took a few minutes out of her hectic day to chat with Fab about Angie, her style icons, and what every girl should carry in their purse.

What are your three favorite Angelina Jolie outfits that you've styled?

I think Oscars from 2004 (the cream Marc Bouwer), Mr. & Mrs. Smith premiere (the leather Versace), and Ocean's 13 premiere in Cannes (yellow Peter Dundas for Ungaro).

If your house was burning down and you only had time to save one clothing item, what would it be and why?

Tough question. I would probably try to grab my great grandmother's purses since they've been around so long. Really, I would save nothing other than myself, my husband, and our dogs, because clothing is replaceable.

What should every girl have in their purse in case of a fashion emergency?

Double sided fashion tape or toupee tape, like Hollywood Fashion Tape, Topstick, or Bug Catcherz. It's like the duct tape of the fashion world!

As a stylist, do you feel the pressure of always dressing uniquely?

No. I dress in a casual and classic style. Cool flats (I am obsessed with Elisa Ferare!) with great jeans (J Brand skinny, Paige boot cut, Ranahan Wide Leg) and a simple top. Maybe a cool accessory like a vintage necklace or a few stacking rings from Tiffany or Gurhan or J. Herwitt.

Who are your style icons and what do you admire so much about them?

Wow, this is so hard. Katharine Hepburn, a pioneer and so classic and timeless. Talitha Getty, just cool and bohemian. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: I love that they do their own thing and take chances. Kate Moss because she wears clothes, they never wear her. Princess Diana, Catherine Deneuve, Diane Von Furstenberg, Sophia Loren . . . it's kind of an endless list.

Can you take me behind the scenes of the Target commercials?

I recently styled the new Jovovich-Hawk for Target commercial and it was so fun! Carmen and Milla are so funny and the clothes are awesome! I love working with Target, great company, great ad agency, and we always have a great time working together.

Bryan Adams, Singer And Fashion Photographer

Bryan Adams' music video for "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me is You" featured a runway show, but did you know that his love for fashion goes beyond a made-up catwalk? The Canadian crooner is the fashion photog behind Guess' Spring '08 ad campaign with model Line Gost (left). He did a great job capturing the sexiness of Sophia Loren, the inspiration for the ads. But wait, Adams' fashion photography experience doesn't end there. He recently met up with friend and designer of Ports 1961 Tia Cibani to shoot a look book at Bungalow 1 at the Chateau Marmont. In the past, Bryan's photos have graced the pages of British Vogue, L'uomo Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Vanity Fair. I wonder what's up his fashionable sleeve next!

Happy 45th, Valentino!

This past weekend, while showing his Fall couture show, Valentino celebrated his 45th anniversary in the fashion biz - quite the accomplishment...bravo!

It all started in 1961, when Valentino Garavani dedicated five evening gowns to Jackie Kennedy, and she become a loyal client - she wore Valentino when she mourned President Kennedy, and she wore Valentino when she married Aristotle Onassis.

But in his 45 years of fashion, Jackie O hasn't been the only woman wearing Valentino for an important event in her life: Julia Roberts, Sophia Loren, Jane Fonda, and Hilary Swank have all accepted Oscars in Valentino dresses. Elizabeth Taylor was wearing Valentino when she met Richard Burton. Valentino outfitted Princess Diana to help her transform from shy girl to princess material.

The man has been around - at 75, his contemporaries Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, even Coco Chanel - have long passed on their legacies to other designers. But Valentino's not ready to stop yet - he continues to quash rumors of his retirement - as he told The Telegraph: "I am already working on my next collections." Let's hope there are many more collections yet for Valentino!

Fab Flash: Fashion Designer Gianfranco Ferré Dies

I'm sorry to report that designer Gianfranco Ferré, 62, the "architect of fashion," died Sunday night in Milan after being hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage. He was noted for being one of the designers who generated the boom in Italian fashion from the eighties into the nineties. Ferré's architectural silhouettes were favored by the likes of Sharon Stone, Elizabeth Taylor, Oprah, Sophia Loren, and Princess Diana. May he rest in peace.

Ugly Betty Is Not So Ugly!

In fact, she's quite fetching! With all the backlash against super skinny models and the new model regulations in Spain and Milan, I think a revolution is under way. An appreciation for a woman's natural curves is surfacing within fashion. What ever happened to the days of curvy screen sirens like Sophia Loren and Bridgette Bardot? I know times change, but these ladies were wonderfully womanly.

Life & Style did a recent story and glammed up curvy Ugly Betty star America Ferrera. We all can achieve her classic, Marilyn Monroe look with a shoulder-baring sweater, cinched belt and full skirt. I love this default look so much I put my own outfit together for Betty, er, America. Bombshells away!
