The season premiere of Gossip Girl had Blair Waldorf emoting Upper East Side sass in an ensemble that only a true fashionphile can appreciate. While stalking the NYC streets with the always dapper Chuck Bass, the high school graduate wore a decadent brocade dress with a chunky gold chain bracelet. She added a youthful touch by accessorizing with a funky L.A.M.B.

We can always look forward to feminine, fanciful clothes from Tracy Reese. For Fall, Reese promises an eclectic collection inspired by post-impressionist portraiture, including the works of Vuillard, Van Gogh, and Modigliani. Pattern mixing and rich color combinations are something to look out for.

I usually stray away from red pants but I couldn't resist how jillconway incorporated red-hot velvet riding pants to create this magnificent throwback look. Her vintage vixen ensemble is classy, sharp, and filled with elegance. I love her choice of accessories.

I don't know about you, but I often like to start my weekend early with a fun night out on Thursday—perhaps with a happy hour or a long, wine-drinking dinner. That means that come Friday morning, I tend to go for the very casual in my work attire. So on Friday, I asked you guys to come Fab Finding with me to put together a very casual Friday look, including this Anthropologie Cutaway Cardigan, available here for $68.

Even if you don't have to wear a suit to work every day, you're bound to need one every once in a while, whether it's for a job interview, a presentation, or another event for which you need to look professional. Thanks to designers like Nanette Lepore, career clothes no longer have to look stuffy. Here are some of my picks for sassy-looking suits for Fall at designer and non-designer prices.
