Snap Judgment: Hearts or Stars?
Hearts — too sweet, I just can't get enough!
Stars all the way; they're way cooler.

I've always been smitten with star jewelry. There's something about the whimsical shape that reminds me of those little gold stars I used to get in grade school. Thankfully, I have this Kenneth Jay Lane Star Pendant Necklace ($30, originally $99) to help me relive my childhood.

Oh say can you see both Paris Hilton and Vanessa Minnillo rocking the same dress? Paris first wore Tracy Reese's star spangled dress to the David Letterman Show a few weeks ago. She managed to find Christian Louboutin pumps in the same exact color.

Leave it to Paris to show off her patriotism the week of the election. The celebrity was spotted wearing a star spangled Tracy Reese confection for her appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Her striking blue dress was paired with matching cobalt Christian Louboutin heels and sparkling diamonds.

Miley Cyrus stopped by Guitar Center over the weekend, presumably to invest in a new rockin' instrument. To look the part of cool musician, she wore Rachel Pally's star dress, a black cropped vest, and red Chucks. She balanced her girliness via a macho watch, a pair of geometric sunnies, and a colorful striped bag.

I've been starry-eyed all Spring, but this Emilio Pucci Striped Star Scarf ($277, originally $395) looks more like a starfish than something I'd want to adorn myself with. But starfish are really cute. It's Pucci, it's unique, but is it you?

In the wrong hands, or rather on the wrong waist, a belt can look out of place, but if worn tastefully, it can work wonders. Take for example a voluminous blouson top; sans belt, it's shapeless, but with one, your waist is accentuated. Patricia Field can back me up on this.

Ah, the transition between seasons. It's the only time you have your entire wardrobe to play with. It's not so hot that you can go out in a tank top, but it's not so cold where you need a jumbo parka.

After stars spangled the Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent runways, I knew the five-pointed motif was going to be big for Spring — and Fab UK is already on it. Leighton Meester and Kate Moss have both sported stars in the last couple of months, and now the pattern is trickling into your Fab Finds.
The Fab Finder of the week is gruaig_rua, because she is a star spotting all-star.
