Those of us who can't stop into London's Junky Styling boutique should try the next best thing: the new book, Junky Styling: Wardrobe Surgery ($32), by founders Annika Sanders and Kerry Seager. First read about the store's unique history and its forward-thinking founders - Annika and Kerry started out making clothes to wear to clubs in the early '90s. Then learn how to re-create some of their popular garments: a shirt wrap halter top, a scarf made from suit sleeves, and so on. Get your tools ready and start performing surgery on those clothes that need a little nip/tuck.

Burberry Prorsum, Live From London Fashion Week

As New York Fashion Week draws to a close for us at FabSugar US, our friends from across the pond at FabSugar UK are gearing up for London Fashion Week, which starts today and goes until Sept. 22. Sure to be one of the highlights of LFW is the Burberry Prorsum show, which will be held in London instead of Milan, where it is typically held. The British brand is doing this to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week. Luckily, since we won't be in attendance, the show will be streamed live online for the rest of the world to see.

All you have to do is go to live.burberry.com at 6:30 p.m. BST on Sept. 22 to get front-row access. Plaid not your thing? Then make sure to check out Alexander McQueen's show as he does the same thing during Paris Fashion Week.

Topshop Works Out in Style

Topshop has teamed up with Italian dance and fitness label Freddy to bring you a seven-piece fitness collection that includes slouchy batwing tops, cowl-neck sweaters, and hoodies. Freddy for Topshop's color palette is slate, mauve, and fuchsia, and prices start at $57. The line drops tomorrow at Topshop stores in London and New York.

Lily Allen Sings In Lingerie: Love It or Hate It?

We all appreciate sexy lingerie, but we don't all have the guts to show our sexy lingerie to the world. Except for Lily Allen. The singer started out performing a show in London wearing a buttoned-up black blazer with lace sleeves. Into the show she unbuttoned her blazer and what did fans see? A black, sheer, lace teddy . . . and her nipples! Lily is known for being quirky, but I doubt they saw this one coming. What do you think - is it tacky or all part of the show?

I know, Spring has just begun, but the fashion world is always a step, or should I say a season, ahead of the masses. Designers have started choosing faces for their Fall campaigns. Steven Meisel will be snapping Madonna for her second debut for Louis Vuitton; Frida Giannini has chosen Jacquetta Wheeler as the face for her Gucci campaign, which will be shot in London; and Burberry snagged budding stylista Emma Watson for its campaign. This book takes us on a journey through the brand's feeble beginnings in Hackney, London, to becoming one of the biggest shoe brands in the world.

Here's an interesting tidbit: Jimmy Choo started off as a bespoke cobbler before London socialite Tamara Mellon, current head of Jimmy Choo, convinced Choo to create a factory-produced shoe collection. I guess you never know where the world will take you . . .

London Fashion Week, Spring '09: Bring on the Quirk

New York Fashion Week ignites some trends, but it's in London where the envelope is pushed beyond the limit. Take, for example, Giles Deacon's Pac-Women. London Fashion Week is nearing completion, but there was enough quirk to last a lifetime, or at least until next season. While overexposure started in New York, the king of quirk, Henry Holland, took the concept to a whole new, playful level. Proceed with caution.

If you haven't heard of at least two of those designers, why not start getting to know them here? Locals can visit the brick-and-mortar store, but others have to shop online. If you gravitate toward off-kilter creations, take a look inside. You'll find bags, belts, dresses, and jewels, some of them on sale. I'm crushing on this Jean-Pierre Braganza Linen Biker Jacket ($414, originally $550).

FABTV: Justice, "D.A.N.C.E"

Concert season seems to have already started, and I for one am stoked. There's nothing groovier than attending a live music show with some buddies and getting down. This song by French duo Justice has been around the world by now - I first heard it last Summer at the famous Boombox in London. Amidst London party kids and more London party kids, I was transported back to the '80s - but the good '80s. Technotronic music, neon colors, robotic graphics, a time when geeks like Devo became cool.

This vid gives new meaning to cool tees. The duo simply walk around while dope graphics appear on their shirts, coordinating with the song lyrics. It's all pretty fresh. I was transported again the other night when I saw Justice live. This is very much a more modern '80s sound though; pulsating beats, build ups, and quirky sound effects. A bit hard to explain, hear for yourself . . .
